It gets the job done and after a while it starts to run slow. You cant have a lot of things running at the same time or it crashes the system. Then you have to restart it. Annoying but as long as I keep it to a couple of things open you should be fine. Wouldn't recommend it for photo shop users.

Prior to making a trip to Best Buy, I purchased a Google Chromebook generally for my online schooling. Unfortunately, it was good to some of my work but not all of it. I wasn't allowed to use any Microsoft software's which is required for all my assignments. So I had to type all my papers on Google docs and then when I got to work, I had to convert it to Word. It was a pain and I was getting sick of not being able to submit a assignment once I completed it. When I went to purchase a new laptop I had no idea what I wanted. I'm very picky. The sales representative was awesome and made me feel very comfortable with my new purchase. I was directed towards the best laptops and which was better for me, not just focusing on how much money they could get out of me. I think I made a great choice with the laptop I chose and is great for school all around!

Took a Windows 7 course and have a Tracfone, so I need to listen to some videos for Windows 8, so I am able to use the computer properly.

A full Windows OS and Tablet Apps, the best of both worlds. The keyboard does not detach, but folds back 360 degrees for tablet function and the keyboard automatically goes into non-functioning mode so the keys are not typing while it is laying on your lap, table or whatever.

Good computer. It freezes sometimes but I think it may be my internet. I always like Hp computers. I would buy another when I need one.

1st couple years it was a great laptop but then it started getting slower and slower. Then one day it stopped charging, it says plugged in not charging. I even purchased a different power adaptor yet have the same results.
