My son needed a new laptop for college, so after doing some research this was our choice. No regrets....... it is small enough for him to take into class and take notes.

I wanted a computer that also worked as a tablet, and this was a great price for such. I absolutely love this little computer, as it can fold over and become a tablet!!

Love this laptop. Use it mainly to stream stuff and uploading pictures. The ability to flip it into a tablet is awesome.

This laptop has a terrible operating system but hopefully that will be fixed soon. The system seems to hang up regularly. I like the hinge. It Is sturdy. I don't use the pad feature really. Good price for what you get.

This laptop is great for any students out there, I bought this laptop for my brother and he says it has everything he needs for school already on there. Great laptop!!!

We bought this for my daughter. She loves the size and ease of use. She has already completed many school projects on it. I think it was a good value for what we spent.

Its a nice computer, its like using a iPhone, its great, really fast turns into an ipad. But its really had to copy and past things. If you are looking for a computer for school just dont buy fancy things like this, stick to the normal lap top.i dont like that it doesnt have a Cd player i mean i didnt know that when i got it.

This computer works well as a laptop and tablet. We gave this to our child for their birthday and it holds up well while not having the limitations of non-windows devices.

I bought this laptop to use for college. AKA note taking, video watching, paper writing, and of course social interaction. The laptop it self it light, easy to set up and use, and does the job. It is fast and the touch screen is fun to use. Good picture quality. However since the major selling point of this product is the "beats audio" you would think the speakers are fantastic right? You would be very wrong. Welcome to mediocre sound quality punctuated with popping, crackling, and intermittent audio. And oh yeah. HP refuses to admit there is anything wrong, even though there have been complaints on their support forums for a while. They suggest you do some useless steps, like seeing if the audio is on. And then disappear once you tell them those fixes don't work. One of their helpful suggestions caused a huge glitch in my laptop. (After updating the BIOS, as per HP recommendation, my laptop would shutdown instead of going into sleep mode. The fix for this is to restore your BIOS to the version before HP stupidly told you to update it.) I would be exchanging my purchase, if I hadn't read about how every unit seems to have this audio problem.

This laptop is perfect for me. The sound is great, and I use it for various things (schoolwork, social media, games).

Not a bad laptop for its price. Adequate speed and display. The battery does not last long.

My wife works from home, and we were sick of sharing one laptop. So we bought this one for her, and it is everything she was looking for. It is small enough to use conveniently on the go, and the ability to switch from laptop to tablet mode is an amazing feature.

Good performance, Windows 8 did not impressed me. Touch screen is fun but useless (wold be better if the screen could turn and twist,etc to make sense to have a touch screen). I would give 5 stars if wasn't for the mousepad. It's horrible to deal with and I couldn't find a good setting to feel comfortable using it. It's either to soft or too heavy to touch and the idea to have one integrated mousepad with no buttons (like Apple does) would be great if Windows didn't require right clicks so often.

Only had one problem the Internet not workin took it back to best buy and was fixed by the next day by geek squad

This was a great deal and I'm using it right now to write the review. The price was great and I use it every day.

I recommend for a student because it is convenient to carry to classes or where ever else you need to do your homework.

I love that PC 2 in 1! Laptop and tablet. If you spend some money to buy something, spend it wisely and be smart!

Already advised a friend who is looking for a computer for movies & social media to get a HP 2-in-1. Comes with a free upgrade to Windows 10 so why wait?
