He is using for his college classes because that is his book and he can fit everything on his desk in class. He is loving using it.

Well, I just love this laptop. It's very convenient when carrying it around school all day and all my friends want to get one now.

This was a great bit for an entry model hybrid. It was held back a bit by the mechanical HDD, but it flies after replacing with an SSD! An additional $70, but well worth the money to squeeze the performance out of this hybrid.

I love it!!! It is so easy to handle and move from room to room. Great screen resolution. And I love all the pre-loaded programs.

Good sound reception. Easy to carry along when traveling. The only major drawback is the UNSTABLE WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION. Even though it says it is connected to wifi, the internet still does not work. It goes on and off, on and off, even if it is situated right beside the modem. All wifi gadgets connect to our wifi smoothly except this HP laptop.

For my first laptop, I like the size and color resolution. The apps were confusing at first, but with time you will understand them. Take your time and just sit down and have fun. I liked that I have two key boards.

I love the versatility of this laptop. I needed to replace an older laptop and have been pleased. Great buy!!!

Took it back and bought a MacAir! This computer was very slow.

This is generally a good computer for a student. Easy to navigate through the windows 8 platform. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it.

this is the second for my gdaughters in college. they love the portability.

But it may have limited wireless reception compared to my other computers. I had to relocate my router to get reception downstairs so I am not really happy with this. It could be the router, but I doubt it.

I would not recommend windows 8 to anyone as I get they were trying to marry the ipad with the computer but for us old people its people its not that friendly.

I bought this 2 in 1 Hp laptop for my kids use at home, i would say that it's functioning well, good sound but the screen resolution is not that perfect.

I like the weight of this. Small enough to carry around at school. Don't like the new Windows tablet display. Had to set it up to the old desktop look.
