Just ok, battery life is bad

This computer has the speed I need. But most I have got out of the battery is 3.5 hours. So keep the charger handy. I thought it was cool that it had Beats audio, but it's pointless because its on the bottom. The sound is muffled.

Great little laptop, but for me, unreliable

I bought this laptop for travel because it is small but full featured. Lightweight, fast, comfortable keyboard, great audio, good battery life. It is an excellent choice for travelers. Unfortunately it failed after exactly 30 days (would not boot). I took it back and Best Buy cheerfully replaced it with the same model. The second one failed after 15 days with the same problem. My second replacement is not an HP (thanks again, Best Buy). This would have been a four star review except for the reliability issue.

I am an incoming grad student and needed a new laptop. Found this at the bestbuy store and fell in live with it. I trust HP since my last laptop was also HP. I love the touchscreen feature. Told my sis about it and she bought two, one for her and one for my nephew in HS. Check it out!

i was looking for a compact laptop with fast processing speed and good graphic display, i have had this one for about a month and it meets those expectations, the only drawback is the extremely poor sound quality from the speakers but i suspected as much before i purchased it when i saw the beatsaudio insignia on it, it's just celebrity hype.

    Great for College Student

The smaller size and option to flip the screen to make room are great for college desks. Touchscreen is on point, it selects what you touch which was a an issue with my previous touchscreen laptop. It's fast and has enough storage for school and personal projects! The only drawback is that the battery does not last too long, it lasts about 4 hours with off and on use throughout the day.

It is a good product however very poor service from HP. Screen broke as it fell from the table and cost for replacement of screen was more than a laptop price. May never buy any products from HP in future.

I bought this laptop because I liked it's versatility in terms of being able to use it like a tablet. I thought I would be able to use this for basic document related tasks and Internet browsing. What I ended up with is a product that has major network card issues with the ocassional hard drive stall. If you look online you will find that this product has issues with it's network card. For no reason it will take your current connection and make it limited. This will happen at least once or more in a day requiring a restart. Sometimes restarts won't work and you are hosed till it decides it wants to work again. The hard drive and processor have random issues and will make it so your computer will randomly not respond to your input. Press the side power button twice while it is sleeping and your computer will just decide to go for an internal slumber till it wants to wake up again. Your better off spending a 100 bucks more to get a better and more reliable product.

    Worst Computer Ever!

I just bought this computer a couple days ago and it is already having problems. It only clicks on things when it wants, when typing I had to press really hard and very slow in order to get every letter I was typing to show up. Its extremely slow and gets warm after a few minutes. I would never recommend this to anyone I know.

    Network Access Issues

I received this laptop for Christmas and have had nothing but issues with the internet access. All other computers in our home work super fast and have no connection issues. This laptop drops connections, is super SLOW and has just been a nightmare. I've had an IT person look at it and he cannot find any issues with it. It's a horrible product! Get something else!

    Wifi Adapter Does NOT Work

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I just bought this laptop on 4/13. Since the day I bought it I've been having issues with the wifi adapter and connecting to the internet. It is not my router, it is the laptop. I have spent over 2 hours with HP technical support and now I have to do a factory reset on my computer to fix the wifi adapter drive... which makes no sense at all. It wasn't working when I first turned it on, I don't see how doing a factory reset will make it work all of a sudden. HP support will give you the run around doing useless stuff to get it working and it will NOT work. Google HP Pavilion x360 wifi problems, there are tons and tons of people with this same issue. It is a big issue with the model. Do not buy this laptop, save yourself the time and spend the extra $100 and buy the Lenova Yoga 2.

This laptop would've received about a 2 star rating if it would've performed the way it did on the day I got it. I've had it 4 months, used it very sparingly, and on nothing that would require decent performance, and it has barely been able to kee up. I now can barely get on the Internet without the entire computer freezing. I've never been more disappointed in a product. Do NOT buy.

As a student I needed a reliable computer, and this was not it... slow, constantly updating at the wrong time (in the middle of a paper and while taking notes in class)... hard to connect to available wifi...Its worth spending more money on a computer that actually works and wont give you issues...

    HP... C'mon

I purchased the laptop for my daughter thinking this would be a great introductory PC for her. When I initially set up the laptop everything ran smooth. I thought the slow set-up time was only because the processor and ram available wasn't the best but I soon found out the computer is slow in general. The PC's Antenna is weak (in the unit I purchased) so grabbing and holding strong connections via Wi-Fi is a constant. Everytime the comp. goes into sleep mode, or every time my daughter/I try to log onto the web the wifi disconnects and we're having to reconnect. I can't complain because the touch interface makes reconnecting easy, but it's really lame having to go through the motions to reconnect when any/every device we own stays connected just fine. When it comes to computer updates they take WAY too long to complete. Load up times take at least 5-6 minutes (clocked just to be sure). I can't download any apps/games for the laptop because we keep getting an error "Internet connection is too weak to download, use another connection to download" ----- iPads, Cell phones, Laptops, PS4, etc all run fine (just to test and see IF IT IS just the internet connection) so saying our Router is weak goes out the window. We got Tech Support through Geek Squad, hopefully we can get this fixed, or maybe grab a replacement to see if this particular unit is defective or not. I'm trying to give HP a chance - So far it isn't good.
