Don't bother with this Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected this to be a little slow, but man this thing out of the box was just pure wasted time waiting for it to load. I wasted my BestBuy bucks on this too. I have never returned an item I have purchased from here, but after the initial set up, it was just not a pleasant experience overall. If anything HP could have at least made the onboard memory expandable instead of fixating it to the board and leaving it at 4GB. Going to 8GB would have turned out better if that could have been upgraded and I would have offered a much better review than this. Yes I know I could have opted to purchase the i3 8GB version, but I should not be forced to spend 69% more for just wanting more memory while I was fine with the screen size and SSD side of 128GB. Funny thing about this is the m.2 nvme is upgradeable so I could have more SSD space if I really wanted too.

Very poor battery life!

I’ve owned this little laptop for about a month, I have only used it about five times. The battery starts heating up immediately & and starts to discharge fast! I’m not sure if mine has a faulty battery from the get go, does anyone else have this problem? I love everything else about the laptop, but I’m afraid it won’t last long due to the battery. The battery literally heats up very hot up to 15 or 20 minutes of using it, it scares me to continue to use it based on how quickly the battery heats up! I got this as a Christmas gift and Best Buy only gives a 15 day warranty return or exchange period so I’m probably stuck with it. Hopefully they can help me out with this problem. It may just be mine that is faulty.
