It is good quality and functions well. 4 stars because it takes a long time to boot up. I will go with one that has a SSD next time. I may replace the hard drive in this one to cure its speed issue. He is an artist so the pen that came with it was a huge plus when I bought it.

Still going strong!

It is a great laptop for school, web browsing and games, although the fan will kick on and is pretty noisy. I am shopping for a new laptop for myself and am currently comparing the latest HP Pavilion laptops, I want one with a backlit keyboard and a larger processor.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Eventually, right at 1 year 2 buttons stopped working. Had to send to HP. Warranty covered it but the repair person said it was a very common problem on them. Now, at 3 years, the cooling fan went out.
