Not happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I got home started the computer it was very slow. After setting it up we did updates. Still had trouble took 45 minutes to load. Best Buy was amazing and took it back.

bigger screen than an iPad

After much argument, HP honored the warranty and repaired it. One year later the same problem. Of course it is now out of warranty In addition to the hinge problem, several keys have stopped working. Do not buy this computer. The Best Buy salesman recommended it to me. Do not listen to Best Buy recommendations, This laptop is a loser. I am very sorry I bought it.

The hinges came apart after about a year and screen started separating. I was being very careful with it and not moving it around, couldn't close it up to transport it due to the broken hinges. The battery life degraded a lot within 6 months then the hard drive failed completely after 17 months of use.

Going to return the product

Went to Geek Squad twice and they claimed the problem was fixed. My next trip to Best Buy is to return the product. Very dissatisfied with service and the computer.

Wireless internet connection keeps dropping

No other wireless device in the house (i.e. Android phones, Kindles, iPads) are dropping the wireless connectivity. The absence of a hard-lined Ethernet jack would've been an acceptable workaround.

Needed to keep programs temporary and later charge

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doesn't deserve a star, when purchasing Microsoft office was included, Adobe photo also, but it was neglected to say temporary, computer had a problem, geek squad was called they remotely checked it and said it was fixed, the next day someone locked me out needed to buy security, since several problems with items working properly, no longer have geek squad. It would be to costly to fix, now.

This is my first HP I have bought and I WILL not be buying one ever again. The display keeps flickering and blinking. And I financed it through best buy so Im making payments on something I can barely even use... I do not recommend this laptop
