Good lap top for the price

The resolution isn’t UHD but that’s ok I needed it more for working on assignments for school and now that the Country is shut down I use it more and more for meetings and classes.

Internet connectivity problems

This is a problem because I live in the mountains and we have dial up. When I was in Tahoe, it was a problem there too. So far two visits to the Geek Squad and one home visit (for which I paid extra) have not solved it. I may have to return the computer. My home has several devices that do not have this problem, including two other laptops, two desktops, four smart phones, and two tablets. So it is definitely this machine.

Do not buy

Not even a minute into set up and I’m plagued with a blue screen. There’s no way to get around the blue screen. It’s safe to say this purchase is getting returned.

USB C port is data only.

It does but I had to try 3 Hubs before I found one that worked with this USB C port. But the data only port means I have to stay hooked to the power port.

Keyboard stopped working within 10 days.o

Now, looking online for a solution to this issue jad a lot of different solutions. My thoughts on this is of its more difficult than me just uninstalling hardware and finding new hardware again automatically than I have zero desire to fight with this issue in the future. I'll just buy a Dell that I know at least the keyboard will work consistently and as expected. Thanks for the massive inconvenience of finding out HP can't even make a laptop that has basic working functions.
