    Lemon of a Computer

I got this laptop because of it's unanimous great reviews. First laptop had two yellow spots on the screen, so I returned it. The second laptop had faint diagonal lines, and the screen was slow so I returned that one. The THIRD one...had faint diagonal lines too, and got hot and noisy under small loads. The fourth and last one I bought had all of the same issues as #3. I am surprised nobody has mentioned this in the reviews. I initially thought the stock of a store was damaged...so I went to another store. Well...the last two laptops are from that second store. Don't bother, at least not if you're in the Cincinnati area. Terrible computer.

The only thing is that the battery over heats...other than that is just perfect!

Graphics are good. Pretty fast. Only downside is the keyboard is small too so my fingers tend to click the wrong buttons

    Not good, at all.

This computer has frozen up on me several times after doing tasks as simple as right clicking. That's really all that needs to be said I think, but that's not where the problems end. The overall speed is laughable; after testing several wifi options, it's obvious the computer is at fault here. The fan is loud when doing nothing, and very loud when doing next to nothing. I'm actually writing this review on my phone because the laptop took several minutes just to load up the Bestbuy home screen...Please, just look around more before you get this.

Cheap hardware; broken hinges TWICE in two years

Broke twice on the hinges; same side both times. I told HP that it was a bad design and asked for a different model, they completely ignored me; they have terrible service, which is to be expected. Now, the second time, they won't even get back to me since it's not in warranty. My case has been open for two months and not a peep. My advice is don't buy any of the pavilions, they probably all have cheap hardware and the hinges will break off, pushing your screen out. The laptop is supposed to be able to bend 360 degrees. I never did this, and yet my hinges broke. Can't imagine what would have happened if I tried it. Probably would have broke right away. I will not be buying an HP again at all. Fool me once, fine, but you're not going to fool me again. I'll take my money elsewhere thank you.

    Very bad laptop

This laptop looks very nice and the touchscreen works well, but those are the only good things about this laptop. Every time there is a windows update, the audio output stops working. So any time there is a windows update the laptop no longer makes sound. This has happened to me 4 times now. The first time it happened, I took it to Geek Squad inside of Best Buy and they said it is a fairly common problem for HP Pavilions to have. They wanted $200 to fix the audio issues. If I didn't learn how to fix it myself, then I would've had to pay Geek Squad every time it happened, or I would have a laptop that had no working audio. Stay away from this laptop and HP in general. They're customer service is terrible and offered no help on how to fix my audio issues.

Bad quality and even worse HP customer service

Bought this computer about 4 months ago. Audio completely went and could not be fixed after 3 professionals from tech support looked at it. Still under warranty but HP would not honor it and provide a working computer. Never buying from them again and would NEVER recommend to a friend. Sister bought the same laptop and same thing happened to her. Terrible quality product,
