My brother is still using the laptop after 5 years. Everything is working fine including touch screen.

I want to either return or exchange this computer for one that is built better. Who's to say though, maybe this one just got dropped in the box a few times... Overall, when first using the computer, it ran great. Touch screen was very smooth and functional. Also the computer operated very quickly with a large variety of chrome windows open and heavy excel data files running. However, after only a few days of using the computer I ran into several problems. 1. The HDMI port refuses to work despite driver updates and many other troubleshooting attempts. 2. The touchpad is extremely poorly constructed and feels really flimsy. It now makes an incredibly annoying clicking/rattling sound when just scrolling or even lightly touching it. 3. The windows key on the keyboard continuously jams causing me to accidentally start pressing a bunch of shortcut/hot-keys which is very disruptive especially in the middle of working on large documents.

It's OK. The battery started going bad after around a year. It will only hold a charge for less than an hour.

Bought the laptop, overall good but battery dies super fast and have taken it for repairs in fan plus finger id sometimes works

I have had a great experience with this laptop. I love the fact that Amazon's Alexa was not forced on me with it as the new ones do nowadays. I have used it for office work and it has been pushed to the limits, no complains so far. The touch screen feature is great and the price for it was unbeatable.

Great this laptop has been my everything for work and play. It's fast and responsive. I enjoy the extra features it has like USB type c and the fingerprint login. Battery lasts a while. It's been great

Not everybody may care about fan noise, but I noticed it right off the bat and knew it was going to bother me enough to regret buying the computer. It was really loud when no applications were running. I researched online that this is a common issue with this model and HP's response is either to update the BIOS or send in the unit for evaluation. Many people said updating the BIOS didn't fix their issue. I didn't want to go through the hassle for something straight out of the box. I ended up taking the computer back the same day and buying a more expensive Dell which is really quiet, and I have no regrets. If you can deal with the potential fan noise issue, the rest of the computer seemed pretty nice for such a great price. It was responsive and had a good display. Unfortunately, the noise was a deal breaker for me.

The computer worked decently for the past few years. I previously had a macbook pro, so I expected a bit of a downgrade due to the price point, etc. But, I did expect that it would last me more than 3.5 years. Motherboard is fried, so now I'm in the market again. I did drop it a couple times along the way, but I did with my macbook too, and it kept ticking.

After reading all reviews I purchased this laptop in September 2019 Was very surprised that battery life for me was about 2 hours Good product overall but would not recommend

decent computer for a budget, for the price, but has it annoyances: installs updates too frequently battery life is about 2 hours, even when turned off, must keep it charged mouse button is touchy and irritating, doesn't work well touchy keyboard, the cursor jumps around when typing

Laptop for school work, very light and easy to carry.

I purchased this computer fromthe Best Buy location in Whitehall, Pa. I am impressed with the product and especially the Geek Squad assitance that I received from Paul. He was absoliutly terrific and makes a positive dfifference in the purchase process!! Thank you !!

This is replaced a similar older model we had. easy to use as it is similar to old computer.
