Awesome - Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am often plagued by buyer's remorse--probably complicated because I have an aversion to returning. Making larger or longer term purchases always makes me anxious. I picked this out, on Black Friday Deal, based on the reasonable price, the touch screen and the comparable specs and the mostly positive reviews. NO REGRETS. I love the keyboard, the touch screen is awesome, especially with onenote--I can take hand written notes (I'm a therapist) on this thing and easily convert them to text, the battery life is reasonable, does everything I need it to. I'm not into gaming, but this little guy is perfect for what I need. Highly recommend.

No ethernet port as spec’d
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We do like the laptops, we purchased two. We carefully reviewed all specs online, because of Covid we are not allowed in the stores. Overall, we are happy with these laptops, however, the specs on your website listed this laptop had an ethernet card and port. Neither of which are in this laptop. We needed these to use with Zoom meetings, wifi is not as dependable as the ethernet connection. (We do have and pay a lot for Cable internet-not DSL) otherwise, it performs well. Please update your listing. We did report to Best Buy and sent screen shots. We are pleased our Surface Pro pens work perfectly on this laptop. The ability to use the laptop as a tablet when necessary is also convenient. The speakers sound very good. The fingerprint scanner verifies fast.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not super big into tech by any means. I just started college and needed an upgrade from my 8 year old dinosaur. I had originally wanted a Lenovo yoga, but I was steered towards this hp. Super glad I went with this laptop, also saved about 100 dollars. The 360 design is amazing. The light gold is very stylish. It’s very fast even with a ridiculous amount of tabs open. Overall great for a college student doing basic work.

Great replacement laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop to replace an older one that died. I will use it as my walk around the house and travel laptop. I have just started using it about a week ago. I love it so far. I have never had a touchscreen before and am getting use to that feature.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm kinda torn on this one. I really like this laptop, with the 11th gen i5 and intel xe graphics. I bought two, one open box and one brand new. I returned the open box b/c it had issues (didn't charge to 100%, and there was a 5 second delay from when you pressed the power button to when the led indicator light actually came on...both hardware issues). Interestingly, running the specs on both using nzxt cam, the new one came with a modestly specced 256gb Samsung nvme m.2 ssd, but the open box one came with a lower specced Western Digital m.2 nvme which also had a b key which is weird for an nvme m.2 since it looked like a sata m.2. They both had Micron 2x4gb ddr4 3200mhz RAM. They both had the same mediocre AUO brand FHD monitor. I'm still on the fence about this one, and was considering returning the new one for three reasons. 1) The keyboard is difficult to see in the daylight. I'd prefer a darker keyboard so it's easier to see the keys in the daytime. Weirdly, I have to actually turn on the backlight during the DAY just to see the letters and numbers on the keys whereas at night the light from the monitor provides just enough light to see the keys properly. It's due to the metal color of the palmrest and keys. 2) The battery life is not that great. 3) The AUO monitor sucks. I have a previous generation Pavilion 7th gen i5 which is specced with a nice bright white LG Display that you can see comfortably on 30% max brightness. It is gorgeous, and after almost 4 years still looks amazing. Nice bright whites and dark blacks. Stunning. I have to have this darn AUO up at 80% just to see comfortably. The whites are yellow tinged, and the blacks are more grayish. I'm not being nitpicky either. It's just a fact. It looked exactly the same on both laptops. Pretty much just a run of the mill FHD display. Thanks HP. One of the pros, however, is that should you be so inclined, the RAM IS upgradable. There are TWO DIMMS. It's not soldered to the motherboard like many thin laptops and ultrabooks these days. So there's that. That was probably the biggest factor that led me to choose this laptop over say the Inspiron 7000, 13" Envy and the Yoga 7i. All three have much better displays, but all have soldered RAM. Being that the trend in thin laptops is toward soldered RAM, a 14" slim laptop with an 11th gen core series cpu AND upgradeable RAM is almost like a diamond in the rough. I know it sounds crazy, but that was the deciding factor over the others, all of which are around the same price. 1 out of 4 was actually upgradable, and that's the one I went with even though I'm not 100% happy with it due to the aforementioned reasons. At least I have the ability to upgrade the RAM. I cloned the ssd to a Crucial 500GB p5 and using Crystal Disk the read/write was 3/2 times faster than the factory Samsung nvme. Still waiting for my 2x8gb Crucial RAM to get here, but this thing is blazing fast already, and that's enough to make me keep it despite the 3 things I dislike about it. I'll live with those things for the sheer speed I get out of this thing. Oh yeah, and I hardly ever hear the fan since I swapped out to the p5 nvme. I heard it more with the factory ssd. And the nxzt cam reads the temps in the low 30 deg celsius on idle. I wouldn't buy it for full price, but if you catch it on sale, it could be worth it.

Fun, easy to transport!Wish battery life longer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun, easy to transport laptop! I do however wish that the battery life was significantly longer. If I go to take an exam (~3 hours long) at school, I can't sit in normal room because I have to have access to outlet. Otherwise great

Worth the Black Friday purchase.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth noting I've only had this for about a month so far, so still fairly new. However, I don't have any real complaints so far. I really only use it for normal web browsing the light work, have not tested any games or Adobe products yet. Some people have complained the fan can be loud at times, but when it kicks in it doesn't seem any louder than other laptops. The touch screen is responsive, though I admittedly rarely use it. If I had to make one complaint, it would be the power cord. Sometimes it doesn't stick in all the way, and I don't really notice it until the battery is almost dead. I just have to push the plug back in and I'm all set.

Great inexpensive Touchscreen laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this for editing photos. It is a very good inexpensive laptop that makes editing a breeze. The fan is a little noisy but not a deal breaker. I recommend this laptop for the beginner photographer or hobby shooter. It’s can be used as a tablet and is very portable giving the user different ways to edit photos or showing photos to clients. There are two things I miss a dvd drive, and number pad again not a deal breaker just my first computer without these. I didn’t understand the OneDrive and lost some of my photos because I didn’t understand how it was storing my photos so if you don’t know what it is do your homework and learn everything before you use it.

Loved it but had to return
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this laptop. Bought it to run my crafting software (Cricut and Silhouette) and do some light photo editing and some Adobe Illustrator. The feel of the laptop was nice, and loved the touchscreen. The keypad was a little weird at first (didn't track but clicked instead). I unfortunately had to return it because for whatever reason it kept crashing on my craft design software for my Silhouette machine. Ran the program in compatibility mode all the way back to Win 7, but it still kept crashing. I think it was an issue with the Software not the laptop but didn't want to hassle with it. If you're looking for something to browse and for school, this laptop is perfect.

New vs Open Box
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What was advertised as "New" was really an open box laptop. I was given a reasonable discount and all parts were there when originally unpacked at the store. However, the instruction pamphlet did not make it into the repacked box. Returned to the store the next morning and the instructions could not be found. Unable to locate an electronic version for the x360: too many choices , none with the right model. The laptop was eventually setup with help. The HP Pavilion x360 2-in-1 14" is quite good; very fast and responsive. Bought a simplistic laptop stand which helps for desk usage. The various features such as the backlit keys and fingerprint entry are very good. No issues with the laptop; just the purchase. In retrospect, I should not have accepted the open box regardless of the discount.

my feelings on this lapto:
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok Ive had it for a few weeks now and have had no issues. I play a couple games and I do no surfing of the web on it. I have my phone for that. Its very easy to set up . Have just recenty discovered the back lighted key pad. ( yeah I forgot) . Battery keeps a good charge, but it really does depend on how much you use it/ play on it. A pc of any type works well depending on how hard or gentle you use it. I have read a few negative reviews on this particular laptop and it took me awhile to just buy it . I realize that is someone elses opinion and not mine and that for me the experience can be quite different as it will be for anyone else considering buying this, which you should give a try and not hesitate. The price is well worth it !
