She's just starting a home business and needs a computer for that. She was able to set up the computer by herself with no trouble. It appears to be a good price/performance value, especially with its having touch screen. She hasn't used it much yet, but so far everything looks good. I also like several weeks Best Buy support for set up.

Does the job

When I have multiple tabs open due to school work sometimes I feel it heats up, BUT does not freeze or slow down which is great. No problems thus far. Plus after purchase there was a sale 1 week later, and because it was within my 2week grace period BestBuy matched the price. Saving me over $300.

I like old tech.

I would have continued to use it but Google was not supporting this platform anymore so I thought I'd try current technology. The HP is fine but now my old printer/scanner is not compatible with this new machine. More expenses. The Geek Squad was very helpful in transferring my files but my "organization" of files was a handful.
