    Best Printer!!!

Bought this printer about a month ago and works great. I love the apps they have on the printer. It can print recipes, origami, comics, newsletter, etc. The quality is great and prints fast. I've printed about more than 20 photos and my ink level is still high. I highly recommend this printer. I had to replace my other printer an Epson brand because I was spending too much on ink. So far no problems at all.

Don't even bother using the install disc. I'm on a iMac with Mavericks. Setting it up was easy. Getting it to print and what not, but using the little things like Scan to Computer wouldn't work. Just use the link to the website to download the Install and everyone will be happy.

I love that this printer is wireless and you can send a print job to it even if you aren't at home by sending the print job via email directly to the printer. I don't however like the fact that the ink goes really fast, if you don't use the printer the ink still dries out and you will have to replace more often.

Absolutely love this printer. I love the ink cartridges for separate colors so I'm not wasting ink. My daughter can easily print photos from her iphone too add to her bedroom walls. Documents print great as well. I wouldn't hesitate to get this printer.

Bought this printer for my parents, who are primarily document printers. They occasionally print a photo or two. It was ridiculously easy to set up and configure to a tablet, two laptops (PCs) and a Mac desktop. I recommend this printer to anyone on a budjget!

This is the perfect Printer for those who own Laptops and hates cords that have a WiFi connection in your home. The other features is that it connects to other WiFi devices, i.e. IPhone 4S. You can print your pictures from your IPhone anywhere you have a signal.

    Good value

This is a good printer. I mainly use it for printing DVD case inserts on A4 matte paper and find it very slow. I was expecting a 3-4 pages per minute, but it takes longer than that for one insert. It takes one minute to print a 4X6 photo from memory card. The scanner is slower than I expected but it does a very good job of capturing the image. Don't get me wrong as I feel this is a good printer for the money. Too bad HP doesn't give a good estimate of time for the printing tasks I do. The touch screen on the printer lags when trying to scroll through pics on the memory card. For normal printing, occasional scanning or occasional photo printing this is a good printer.

It's great to be able to quickly see ink levels. But the paper tray has a lid on it which makes adding paper a bit harder. Overall, though, a very nice multipurpose printer, copier, scanner with efax

Great Printing Quality, Difficult to Install

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I just installed the printer today, so have little experience with it, but the print quality was excellent for the one test photo, and several documents that I have printed. However it took at least 2 hours and a call to HP support before I could use it. Thankfully I had experience setting up printers, b/c there were no paper directions. You had to "know" how to install the USB cables and the inks. You had to know to run the software and what answers to provide. At the end it tries to set you up with various products, and doesn't provide an exit. Never said that the software was correctly installed or that it was finished. Was not sure when I x'ed out of the software whether it was finished, but there was no where to go. I was able to print a document from word without a problem. Then I tried to print a newspaper article using google chrome. Once the print button was hit, it immediately sent me into documents library. Spend a great deal of time online trying to figure out how to fix it, tried several things, to no avail. It is clearly an issue as there were a number of posts regarding it online. Finally called HP support who advised me to use another search engine - which does work. I have to say that the print quality is awesome. I am hoping that weeks from now I can forget the installation problems and will be pleased with the product and that I will be able to give it 4 or 5 stars. If the print quality was not as great as it is, two stars would be generous. Do not purchase this product if you have not installed printers in the past or are wedded to google chrome. I have my fingers crossed.

Recently purchased this model, Easy set up to desktop but did have some trouble trying to get it to work wirelessly to the laptop but after looking thru laptop trouble-shooting menus got it to work fine. Attempted to use cell phone (blue-tooth) to print out a picture, didn't work at first either so downloaded an app into the phone (e-print) from HP then "poof", the printer came alive and printed out the picture from my cell phone :) Next will try and set up connection to my tablet.
