Still don’t know if it’s the paper or printer that can’t get the sharpness of a picture right

The quality photo paper is equivalent or better than having a Wallgreens or CVS develop my photos! Do it yourself and it will say you lots of Money!!!

This paper was recommended when I bought printer to print photos. Horrible! Ink runs all over, pictures illegible. I just print on regular paper now. Most of this package sitting unused forever since does not work with printer.

    Excellent photo paper

This paper has plenty of heft, and offers good color. It also provides good whites and excellent detail. When purchased at a good price it's hard to beat, and I'm using it on a Canon MX922. I initially judged it as being intended for printers using only pigment-based inks, but it works equally well with those using dye-based inks. Surprised me. Prints are not quite as bright or white as Canon Glossy II paper, for instance, but you won't notice it unless you have the prints side-by-side. The soft gloss finish looks remarkably like what I've always referred to as semi-gloss, which I prefer to high gloss. If it's RC paper, which I suspect it is, you can't go wrong with it.

Photo Paper that works in HP Printers

For those using HP (tm) Inkjet AIO Printers for Photo printing, (there are numerous models), as a few examples herein: Models C10a, 7510, 7515, 7520, 7525 - they are "very picky" about feeding 4x6, 5x7 paper from their photo paper tray. Not so much the case for 8x10, or 8.5x11 out of the Main Paper Tray. The typical result of failures seen by these HP Printers after a no feed, or miss-feed is the message Paper Tray Empty. These repeated messages and failure to print is very frustrating and time consuming. People I've talked with have, or are ready to throw away their HP Printers. In my personal case, I've used Premium Photo Papers sold by COSTCO, and BJ's wholesale for several years. They are typically 60 or 70lb. rated Premium Quality photo paper for Ink Jet printers that states they are equal to the best photo papers buy the OEM Mfrs. - but they do not work all the time in these HP Printers even though you have set your "Printer Properties" to the correct firmware/software specifications. Ah, at last relief - the HP Premium Plus Photo Paper 80lb. rated, feeds every time, after hundreds of Photos now printed with this particular photo paper. It is made in Germany, and available in Glossy or Semi-Glossy finish. The results are excellent. Yep, it costs more... but what value is your peace of mind while getting nice prints. We all want to save money when and where possible, but for those who enjoy printing their own photos, this product is worth every penny. WMB.

    Great paper for HP printers

This is great paper. The combination of this paper with HP photo inks produces outstanding images on my HP printer. I love the finish of this paper. I used to work in a professional photo lab before the days of digital. I can say that this paper has the potential to produce prints that rival or maybe even exceed the old paper/chemical combination. Not only that, if done properly the images on this paper will outlast the old fashioned "C-Prints" that I made from color negatives.

This HP soft gloss photo paper is great for pictures that you don't want extremely glossy. I usually prefer matte but this photo paper is really nice for certain pictures.
