I am used to the HP Photo smart All in One printer and this printer does'nt compare. If your looking for a cheap printer this is the one. Although, this printer is slow and not efficient.

I am very disappointed re: the scanner! Brand new printer, expect it to perform! Was told to wait for an HP update. So, I am waiting! NOT going to pay another $49 to hear it is not working

unable to print photos of various sizes. I did not realize this until I attempted and found no way to change the size of the photo paper other than using a basic 10x14 paper.

We have had a lot of trouble setting up printer. After doing more search on internet, we see this is a typical problem with this product. Perhaps that is why Best Buy sold it as part of a student bundle. Very frustrating.

Not even 3 wks after buying this it quit working. Downloaded fix dr. that didn't work had to call HP. They sent my call to India, got someone I couldn't understand said would fix remotely for 180 dollars no it's only 3 wks old. Now have to take back to Best Buy. Can't return past 15 return policy, have to pay Geek Squad to find problem! Not happy.

The ink in this printer doesn't seem to last very long at all. I don't use this printer much at all and already the ink has run out. I'm not sure if I've printed 30 pages with a cartridge of ink.

It's bigger than I would have liked, not so easy to use, I have yet to figure out how to print on envelopes or index cards. Ink runs out too quickly. Maybe I'm missing some important information for its use because the printer's been around quite a while and I know several people that own this one or earlier and later versions. While I know other people like it, I don't. One thing I will say though is that it seems to last forever. I've owned it for a couple of years now and have hoped it would die but it doesn't so I keep buying ink.

After 3 weeks, Best Buy has still not sent a replacement. When we set up the printer, it said it would not print or scan. We returned it to the store and they said they would mail a new printer.

AFTER HAVEING MY HP ENVY 5530 PRINTER ABOUT 2 MONTHS MY PHOTOS I WAS DEVELOPING STARTED COMEING OUT WET. I CONTACTED HP THROUGH BEST BUY WHERE I PURCHASED THE PRINTER THE PROBLEM BEING RESOLVED.

The Envy 5530 is a good low budget printer. I am disappointed with the overall print quality especially when printing on the front and back. My wife likes the airprint feature to print from her iPad.

I returned the printer because the ink cartridge didn't work was going to have fixed or exchange but saw 3 others returned for defects. Just got my money back. Was very disappointed

after considerable time researching found it needs 6940 driver to print at all. this may be the reason it has been discontinued, but now works great. also has memory card slot

The ink reservoir is way to small. Printed only a few copies and it's low on ink. Replacement cartridge is $20 less than whole unit.
