The printer stores massive amounts of ink and I can do a lot of printing without replacing the ink. The problem I have is the printer doesn't connect very well with my laptop (I connect wirelessly with my laptop very close) and at times I have to frequently pull the plug to reset the printer so it can connect. Also this printer does not have an automatic feeder for scanning documents so that if I have to scan a bunch of documents, I have to manually scan each page one at a time.

I’ve needed to replace my old printer for a while now. My old HP had all but given up the ghost. I’ve always had HP printers and have always been very satisfied. My brother in law has two Smart Tank 6001 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printers, so I bought one. The hook up was easy. And so far it has worked perfectly. I’m really enjoying printing again. Looking forward to making Christmas cards this year.

It works as advertised. It was easy to set up and install using HP Smart App. So far I have been satisfied with printer’s performance. My only complaint is difficulty reading display on control panel because it is so tiny. Otherwise I have been pleased with this printer.

Software alittle difficult to setup. Great printer!

After a very brief wireless connection issue, printer has been great. Nice to have extended ink with no cartridges. Print quality and speed good for everyday use.

HP Manual "Recommended" setup said to go to 123.hp.com to set-up. 123.hp didn't offer or recognize Smart Tank 6001 or offer setup on system. Spent 2 hrs getting HP support to fix. Be prepared for a long long setup. Once you get support (chat only,) and help them understand the issue wasn't with the printer they took over and did a great job. Loading ink was easy w/ no mess, very impressed by this. You do need to install two print heads but that was simple. Print quality, both B&W/Color exceptionally nice. Quick printing, moderately quite. FYI no USB port for USB stick. Would rate it a five if not for the frustration on setting up.

So far so good. Replaced my last printer because it was getting harder to try to print wifi. So this new one has worked great with printing. Color looks great and im liking the way the iml comes. The cartridge would get dried up in the other one and i had to keep taking it out to try and save the ink. So far havent had to in this one

The setup process is easy enough and ink costs are very low. But the printer constantly makes a high pitched squealing sound, even when in standby mode. It also does not print sizes quite accurately even when set to 100% scaling. An 8 inch line on one side of the page is not the same size as 8 inch line on the other. If you’re doing anything where you need accuracy (including where you’re attaching pages together like printable sewing patterns) this is not the printer for you. An exchange had both of these same issues.

I've had the HP - Smart Tank 6001 Wireless printer for a few months now without complaints. It performs great! The best feature and my deciding factor on making this purchase is the refillable tanks. The ink seems to last a lot longer as opposed to using the cartridge versions of these printers.

Excellent printer. Fast and quiet. Prints pictures really fast and with great quality. It is wifi but don't call HP for support on how to get it to broadcast to the network as they have no clue so I had to hook it up hard wire.

So far I love this new printer. Prints fast and of nice quality. I’ve always hated print cartridges that really don’t last long, dry out if not used regularly and cost you half the price of a new printer. If this machine continues to perform as it has so far then I’m definitely converted to print tank technology.
