This printer was easy to set up. I love the large tanks of ink. I printed my Christmas cards with it on photographic paper and they turned out great. I highly recommend this printer.

After having used the 8600 Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and Premium printers for almost 10 years, both failed to print after having used third-party, non-genuine HP printer ink cartridges and messed up the printer-head. A printer-head replacement only temporarily solved the issue, but the printer stopped printing. I ended of purchasing this printer as the end of last month while using Best Buy's printer recycle program (recycled one of the printers). I opted for a printer with refillable inks instead of the typical ink cartridges, as the ink cartridges were not cheap, and were the source of all sorts of trouble and problems. The setup was relatively easy for the most part, except for a moment in the later stages where it was stuck with one of the steps in the process, thus unable to automatically complete the setup. I ended up having to restart the printer in order to manually finish the setup process. My only complaints with this model are the 3.0" Touchscreen MGD (Mono Graphics Display), lack of native/built-in Scan to Computer/PC option from printer, scanning with the ADF (Auto Document Feeder), printing and the paper tray to list up for now. Regarding the 3.0" Touchscreen MGD, it is on a narrow strip on the body, and personally it is rather small, and quite cumbersome to use when making copies as all of the options are under menus and you can only touch, and swipe up and down the menus. If the display was somewhat larger and had a little more touchable buttons, such as arrows for UP/DOWN, and immediately print after changing one of the options such as double-sided copying (from single-side) would have been real nice, as you would have to manually touch the back button until you reach the first menu to actually copy (it is only one or two back-button touches....) As for the Scan to Computer/PC, this feature has been removed from the printer, as the option is not present on the printer to choose from. You can only send scanned documents/files/pictures to a E-MAIL, NETWORK FOLDER or a USB drive that is connected to the printer via the USB port on the printer. Even to this day, we use the Scan to Computer/PC method and I was extremely disappointed that it has been removed as an option from this model. I am not sure whether it is only HP or only the recent and newer models of even the other brands/competitors have done this/doing it, but it is quite cumbersome to have to use a separate program to scan from the printer to the connected PC. There is a FAX telephone line jack, and I personally feel like that should have been a lower priority on these higher-end models and the native, built-in Scan to Computer/PC was left on. I am sure there a quite a few tech-savvy people out there that do not mind this and pretty much work digitally/on the cloud, but I do have old-school co-workers so, it would have been real great to have had that same old way of working with scanning documents and files to the computer. On the same topic of scanning, you can scan from the ADF, but the resolution will be capped at 200 DPI, and you would need to scan from the Glass Bed scanner for higher resolutions (can change from settings of scanner program). I am using the program HP Scan to scan directly to the PC and have changed several settings for our use. Lastly, the paper tray is another slight con, as the gray tab that is also used to extend the tray from longer/larger papers is set to 8.5" x 14" and I was unable to adjust the length to match the typical letter size 8.5" x 11" length. As a result, the paper moves around quite a bit in the tray, and can copy/print slightly diagonally/slanted and not from the very top of the paper as intended. Also, with the previous printer documents/files were manually setup to print on a page as close to the edges as possible, but with this printer, such settings are pretty much pointless and I needed to manually readjust every single file (spreadsheets and etc.) to print up to the edges. Going back to the paper tray, I personally would have loved it if it was capable of loading 500 sheets instead of 250, as reloading this single paper tray is also slightly cumbersome. If the above caveats/annoyances do not matter to you, then this printer might be a steal. when buying on sale and recycling a printer that is no longer functioning/on the verge of failure. I personally will not recommend this to those who will miss the old-school features. I am unsure whether some of the "minor" things can be found on the competitors' high-to-higher end models. We do quite of bit of printing mostly in black and occasionally in color on a daily basis, and so far, the ink levels are still pretty high (slightly below max level) even after a month of use. The printer does come with a set of the inks in bottles; 32XL BLACK 135 mL x 1, 31 CYAN 70 mL x 1, 31 MAGENTA 70 mL x 1 & 31 YELLOW 70 mL x 1. I got a set of the inked bottles just in case, which was rather low in stock at the store. P.S. Read and follow the directions with included manual, and do not shake the ink bottles as bubbles will form and there will be a little bit less when filling up the tanks.

We have two of these printers for the business and they've worked great for us! The Supertanker ink is much cheaper than ink cartridges and more cost effective. We'll be getting a third one soon!

Now that your Geek Squad visit worked almost two hours trying to get the printer to connect with laptop, I am very happy with the new printer. Just a heads up; my first Geek Squad visit was cancelled without any explanation. Perhaps better communication would be to make sure there is a logical reason why it was cancelled. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the service at Best Buy itself and the Geek Squad visit.

Great all in one printer, ink has been lasting even after going through several hundred pages of paper. Double sided printing is also great as it automatically flips the paper. Top scanner is nice being able to just load the tray and send it. Highly recommend if youll be printing large quantities.

So far I really like this printer. I replaced an older Office Jet all in one that needed ink again, cost about $140.00 now. It prints really well and is pretty fast. The setup was easy on first try. I like that it has automatic double sided printing but I gave only 4 stars because it doesn’t have automatic double sided scanning, like my older printer. The real test will be if it operates with non HP ink refills, I don’t see how it will know the difference but I guess we’ll see. The HP ink refill is still almost $80.00 while aftermarket is under $30.00. If you need a new printer I don’t think you will go wrong purchasing this one.

Works great and we really like it. Super fast to print large documents. Challenges: the print tray is a pain to change out or add new paper and the "print head missing" error is a recurring frustration but has settled down after 2 months or so of daily errors.

When I was shopping for a new printer, a fellow customer (a teacher) saw me reaching for a different printer and stopped me to tell me how much she loved this printer, and the ink that lasts forever. I took a look at the specs and they matched what I was looking for so I purchased it based on that unsolicited review. I love it. I no longer worry about running out of ink right in the middle of my projects. I have been using this printer for several months and the ink is at the 75% level! BTW the ink replacement is NOT expensive, in fact it's about equal to a full set of ink for my last printer which I replaced several times a year. The printer is a little taller than some of the more compact models. and the feeder, scanner, and copier are smooth and easy to use. I am thankful for that kind customer who gave me that unsolicited advice, as I find this printer meets all of my needs and the added bonus of not worrying about running out of ink.

I was researching printers for probably two years. Done with Epson, had three of them, due to their paper handling issues and waste ink reservoir that dirtied 6 out of 10 pages with black ink smears. I did try an Epson big tank printer but the color rendering was horrible. For some reason I had never considered HP and was leery of the Tank technology. But after speaking with a BB printer guy I decided to take a chance on this printer. I am impressed with the print quality, especially with photo printing...crisp, and true color rendering. This was important for me as I print pictures, cards, and graphics, on occasion and they need to be perfect! Impressive printing with this printer.

I recently purchased the HP Smart Tank 7602 Wireless All-In-One Supertank Inkjet Printer in Dark Surf Blue, and I am genuinely impressed with its performance. The setup was straightforward, thanks to the smart-guided lighting that made the process intuitive. The magic touch panel is sleek and responsive, adding to the overall modern feel of the device. The 35-sheet auto document feeder and 250-sheet input tray are incredibly convenient for handling large print jobs without constant reloading. The flatbed scanner delivers clear, high-resolution scans, while the borderless printing feature produces stunning, professional-quality photos. One of my favorite features is the low-on-ink sensor, which helps avoid unexpected ink shortages. The front USB port adds to the printer’s versatility, making it easy to print directly from a USB device. In terms of value, quality, and ease of use, I would rate this printer as “Good” across the board. It’s efficient, user-friendly, and offers great value for its price. I highly recommend the HP Smart Tank 7602 for both home and office use.

COLOR IS GOOD THIS IS NOT A "PHOTO" PRINTER IT'S A GOOD HOME PRINTER THAT PRINTS GOOD PICTURES, BUT IT'S BENEFIT IS IT'S BULLETPROOF AND INTUITIVE. IF I CAN'T INSTALL AND OPERATE THIS EQUIPMENT YOU CAN DO IT. THIS IS A PROBLEM FREE UNIT YOU WILL ENJOY THE LARGE PRINTING TANKS AND PRINT CAPACITY, AND IT DOESN'T BREAKDOWN.

Replaced my old officejet with this new printer. The improvements are noticeable. Connection to the iMac and Microsoft laptop via home network WiFi was easy. Print quality, scanner and no longer needing to replace those print cartridges is great.
