HP 7602 is a great printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP Smart Tank 7602 scans, copies, and prints with ease giving high quality results. It is very easy to set up and the ink tanks are a welcomed improvement over cartridges. The printer’s only draw back is the selection screen seems like a flashback from 2000. It has a small touchscreen that takes a while to get used to if you’re not used to one line selection with old school graphics. Overlooking the touch pad operation the printer is a great printer and I would recommend it.

HP Smart Tank 7602 printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not like it. I cannot get it set up with my laptop or my phone. I ended up having to hook my Espon printer back up. I use to set up printers but this one is for the birds.

Quiet and Quick For Both Setup and Use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting up a printer can be daunting. Fortunately setting this printer up was a breeze! I installed all of the inks before setting it up for wireless on my network. HP's software was simple and direct; it walked me through each and every step quite easily. My household has two separate networks; one 2.4ghz and a 5ghz. Devices for content consumption and work are on the 5ghz band, and my IoT devices utilize the 2.4ghz. Thus, I opted for setting the printer up on the 5ghz band and it was incredibly simple. For my Chromebook, the printer has to be on the same network band. Printing from a phone? Easy. Desktop? Easy. This is my first printer that uses separate inks as well as cartridges. Filling the ink reservoirs was easy! This printer replaces an HP that is now nearly a decade old. This one is much quieter and better looking. This printer does double-sided and collates! My only nitpick is that the opening hinges and their stops feel a bit weak. Pros: Quiet; easy to set up; sleeps/idles; prints double sided; large ink reservoirs; honestly a nice unboxing process. Cons: It uses more than 1w during sleep (This is still Energy Star rated); the hinges feel a bit cheap.

Time will tell, but it's ok
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The features seem pretty decent, but the build quality of this printer seem a little subpar for the price point. The main reason I bought this is because of the ink tanks. I'm hoping it will be cost effective in the long run, but the initial price of the printer seems a little steep for the quality and features of a mass-produced product. The paper tray seems particularly cheap because it feels like it could break each time you open it. There's no tray guide on the rear of the paper stack so it leaves you wondering if the paper is loaded properly, compared with older printers. The ink dispensing system seems very nice and easy to fill the tanks with no mess at all. I do wish there was some lighting inside the printer when you open the top because in a low lit room, it's hard to see inside when filling the ink tanks. The print quality appears to be great and the software seems to integrate nicely from the computer to the printer. I also like the minimalist, but very intuitive, monochrome touchscreen on the top front of the printer. I also like the color and overall visual appeal of this printer. I was strongly considering buying a color laser printer when I arrived at the store, but when I saw this printer, I figured I will give inkjets one more attempt because these ink tanks might save enough money to justify the printer.
