Laptop was very well packaged. It felt like a high end computer. I put a micro sd card in the slot and it just fell inside the laptop. Pulled off the back cover to retrieve it and its literally under all the components in the Laptop. This has been an issue with many Google reviews.

Worked great for 2 weeks then non-stop crashing/ blue screen after 15-20 hours use. Computer techs unable to resolve -odds are mother board. HP Support initially stated it could be returned no-questions asked as within 30 days, but later stated it must be mailed in... so a week+ to mail, repair, return. Out of Best Buy 2 week return window. This is the second Spectre to have issues - last one lasted 1.5 years then similar issues.

Heavier and bulkier than expected. Replaced it with a 13.5” HP Spectre.

Purchased open box unit. Came as the unit, charger and protective sleeve only. No box or manual. Powered unit on and error msg appeared on screen CMOS-502 dealing with the BIOS. Unit then restarted and functioned as intended. Noticed the clock was incorrect. Went into Settings and reset the clock and turned unit off. Next time I booted up unit, same error msg and clock was incorrect. Took unit back to best buy for service and they said they couldn't fix it. So I returned it for a refund. Too bad. When it worked it was 4 out of 5 stars (noisy fan and unit very hot when on wifi. Otherwise it was good). Had unit a total of two days. The wouldn't recommend to a friend is more for poor customer service and the inability to fix a brand new unit.

Very disappointed. I only used for 30-40 minutes. Itried for couple of days after updating but same issue. I only watched YouTube videos for couple of times and didn’t get a chance to do the work because it heated up so bad. 1) very first day started heating up so bad like it will burn the skin off. 2) battery drainage every second 3) frozen screen

Ran hot Short battery life . A heavy beast Not worth the money google the performance issue thanks to Best Buy no questions asked I returned and got a Dell and very Happy with it and the service from their sales

I thought I would love this since it looks amazing design to write. Pen comes along with package which is nice. But, the battery life is trash, and pen flicker and stop working when I am writing.

I gave it a one because it got stuck in the initial install. I kept getting the message, "Oops you have lost internet connection." I tried installing it on three diff networks to no avail. Found a blog post from MS about how to press SHIFT + F10 to enter a command to bypass the network setup. See below. If I were not a software engineer, I would have been stuck returning to the store, waiting on the geek squad, etc. That's why I give this a one star, as this problem is common on these models. If you are not tech saavy, don't bother with this model ----------------------------------------------------------- In Command Prompt, type the OOBE\BYPASSNRO command to bypass network requirements on Windows 11 and press Enter.

a week into owning this computer every time I close the lid without shutting it down, (to go into sleep mode) and then open it, the screen freezes, and need to force shut it down, when it reboots I get a BIOS error screen and have to shut it down again to reboot

Not good , hought it 22 days ago , trackpad and keyboard stops working all of a sudden, return period is also over, and being a plus member I am not getting any benefit.help me i. Exchangung the oroduct.

HP used to provide reliable and long lasting hardware, but the keyboard went off by no reason after 7 months; and I barely used this machine...

the only thing about this item is that the mouse jumps around and will mess up your typing. It becomes very frustrating. I will not by again I would rather stay with Apple

Very bad product for this much price. Fan speed is like a 90s computer and there is a lag in performance

still learning and playing with it. Display is good, speed is good, overall very pleased with this unit.

It was an excellent purchase since it is working for me as I wanted it for my personal needs. It is a very light and very comfortable laptop and of excellent material. It has a larger than normal screen and the quality is excellent. So, I recommend it 100 percent.

Laptop has some pros and cons. CPU performance is more than enough for almost everyone. Trackpad and keyboard are good. However, the laptop falls apart when you need it to be a laptop. I personally think the laptop is to big and has does not have battery life that is acceptable for most people. In the time I had it, I used HWINFO to measure real world battery consumption and found that the laptop used over 11 watts just watching youtube at close to full brightness. If the laptop continued to use that much power, that was only good enough for around 5 hours estimated which is ok but not great. When browsing the internet, or opening anything, the power usage would really spike and would mean that the estimated battery life really suffered. Real world usage, I would estimate 4-5 hours of battery life which is far short of the 17 hours they quote. Another issue I noticed was that you could see what I'm assuming is the touch layer. Mainly on a white screen, you could see zigzagging lines that made whites appear grainy. While there on my current laptop, I didn't notice them until I actually when and looked for it unlike on the HP. TLDR - The laptop has a great CPU that uses to much power and throws off a lot of heat. (The chassis and exhaust get warm) The screen looks good if it wasn't for the visible touch layer. This laptop genuinly has too much CPU power for most people.

I got a great deal on this. Good choice! It holds a charge really well too.
