Note: I received this product complimentary. I am an Apple products user for both work and personal use so was a bit skeptical to try a PC again but this laptop is a true delight and really impressed me. I tried it out for web browsing, video chat, and basic office functions and it felt smooth and faster than the other products I'm used to. I loved the 2-in-1 feature that let me transform it from a laptop to a tablet which is my preferred way to browse the web while cozying up on the couch. The other feature that I really liked was the Glam Cam - who doesn't want to look their best on video calls? The battery life was excellent and the weight of it as well - no more clunky MacBook bricks to lug around. I would whole-heartedly recommend this laptop to my friends and family.

Unboxing a new electronic is one of the best feelings and this computer definitely delivered. The computer is beautiful- from the perfect display to the color of the laptop itself. It has a big, spacious and comfortable keyboard. The screen/graphics were bright and the color was sharp. The laptop stayed charged for several days before I had to reconnect. I used every day for about 30 minutes-1 hour per day. I typically use my laptop to browse the internet, shopping, answering e-mails and editing pictures and video for my job. I was able to complete all tasks easily and without any issues. I also own a Macbook and I would have to say that I prefer the HP Spectre 2 in 1. Normal activities can be done much easier on this computer than the Macbook. I am excited to continue exploring this laptop. I received this product as part of a free sampling program.

    Versatile Convertible Laptop

(I received this product as part of a free sample program.) The HP Spectre 2-in-1 16" is a well-built, stylish looking, convertible laptop that does a bit of everything. It has terrific touch and stylus functionality, and lots of helpful features for home and office work. The laptop’s metal chassis is sturdy and stable. It has a large, high quality, gorgeous display with deep and vivid, bright and crisp graphics. The keyboard is responsive and wide enough to for me to spread my fingers out comfortably. Its speakers provide a clear, rich sound that isn't tinny. Battery life is a bit less than advertised but still good. I like the included stylus pen, which magnetically attaches to the side of the laptop. The fantastic, high-res 1080p webcam has a physical privacy shutter to block the webcam. Software is included that helps you look your best. I also appreciate the several connectivity options, the mic mute button, and that the computer can lock automatically if I walk away from it. Unfortunately, the laptop is a touch too hefty and large to use in tablet form for an extended period of time. Additionally, its 11th-Gen CPU performance is good but could be better. Overall, I am highly satisfied and very pleased with the versatility of this impressive, easy-to-use, convertible laptop that turns into whatever I need it to be. I love utilizing this reliable, beautifully designed multi-tasker for work, play, and too create. It is superb for video calls, giving presentations, photo editing, taking notes, and drawing, as well as gaming, web browsing, and watching online videos.

I received the Spectre 2-in-1 as part of a free sample program and it has been an extremely helpful tool for creating digital assets. I typically use it for sketching and digital art. The pen feature is good for drawing and outlining as well as making touch screen navigation even quicker. I like the touch screen and the reverse fold features.

Everything on this computer is perfect. If I had to criticize something, I would not put the cover on the USB 2.0 connection and would make the connection cable come out, without an elbow, it can make the placement of the pendrives uncomfortable.

Intel ARC A370M GPU Ruins The Spectre 16

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

BUYER BEWARE, AVOID THE INTEL ARC GRAPHICS: I ordered a brand-new CTO HP Spectre 16 from HP.com back in June with the Intel i7-1260P CPU/Intel ARC A370M GPU, 32GB RAM, 2TB 4x4 SSD, AMOLED display, and the Intel AX411 Wi-Fi card - on paper, a truly high performing and well equipped computer that was expensive. I waited for a month and a half before I finally received the product in the mail and in the interim, I saw various videos and forum posts about how **terrible** the Intel ARC GPU lineup was. I contemplated cancelling my order; however, I decided to give the computer the benefit of the doubt and experience it hands-on before and see if Intel would fix the problems before doing that. Initially, the Intel ARC A370M GPU showed itself to be very buggy, I updated the GPU with drivers from Intel's page (as HP does not have a support page yet for this product (... go figure...)) and it seemed to fix the GPU and allow basic usability. However, this changed when I attempted to use basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Lightroom, Photoshop, or even do some light gaming. The programs would either: (1) not load at all and crash; (2) be pixelated/have artifacts that rendered them unplayable (Sims 4 and SWTOR would not play on the ARC A370M at all); or (3) blue screen the entire system. I cannot believe that HP (and other manufactures that use this GPU, for that matter) would allow something this terrible to be sold to customers in what seems like a beta test run. For the $$$$, you'd expect to not feel like a guinea pig with a terrible buggy product that cannot even run basic day-to-day programs or do light gaming. On top of that, Intel is rumored to be pulling the plug on the ARC graphic series altogether, which does not inspire confidence in the long run. My suggestions to you is to: (a) purchase the Iris Xe versions of this laptop as that graphics card is acceptable for daily usage; or, (b) to purchase a different laptop and avoid the ARC A370M and all other variants of the Intel ARC lineup altogether as they are terrible first-generation products. 15 days into this, I am very disappointed in this computer and I have spoken to HP to obtain a return authorization for the product. You've been warned.

Love this laptop as I have it connected to a 49" LG monitor that also connects external hard drives, Priinters, etc. So only one wire from Laptop to LG and that is the thunderbolt USB-C. I love the fingerprint and PIN login as well. Still getting used to the OneDrive concept and need to also test the Office 365 offline. Not sure how that will work as well when not connected to WIFI.

This laptop is garbage. I bave the i7 and once you start doing any work that requires two programs or multiple documents opend the laptop processor heats up so hot yoy cant put it on your lap. You can cook an egg on it. The performance is throttled beyond belief.
