I never got it! They ordered it there was a delay in the order even though I'm a member they canceled my order after 15-day delay they didn't ask me if I wanted to wait longer. They didn't offer me any options Best buy sucks seriously when it comes to customer service whether you're a loyal member or not.. I wouldn't recommend this product because you'll never get it.

All specs seem amazing, but this is like a tank from 1980. Not clear why in 2024 a laptop needs to be a tank. Buy a Mac or Samsung Book.

    Great battery life and specs

Stupid people complain about this laptop for minor crap. I for one appreciate how crazy this battery life is and how portable it is. Screen is amazing. And this battery like can easily go 6-7 hours straight at 50% brightness . But when you turn on battery saver… well. You’ll be using this thing easily for 13-15 hours. It just never dies it seems

    False Advertisement-Sham Warranty

I ordered the laptop directly from HP. The most important features for me were the hard drive of 1 TB, 16 GB of memory, the lightweight, and most importantly, the battery life of 10 to 12 hours. 10 to 12 hours would give me enough charge to carry the lightweight laptop with me through the day without having to carry a heavy adaptor and look for a place to plug it in during the day. Less than a month after my purchase, I realized the battery drains in about 4 hours -that is about one-third of the battery life declared in the manufacturer’s specifications. I contacted HP and after many hours of online chat and phone calls, they escalated the case to Mr. Deba the Escalation Manager. After some email exchanges and phone calls, he decided to send me a box and a shipping label, send me a loaner, extend the warranty to two years, and fix and return the laptop. The loaner never came and I was left without a laptop for six days, the warranty was not extended, and the laptop came back totally unchanged. As before, the battery discharges in about four hours. During the painful exchanges, I repeatedly asked for the return and refund of my money. I am an American consumer, who purchased the laptop in the US from an American company. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (MMWA), a federal law that protects consumers by governing warranties on consumer products, is very clear on this issue. They must honor their warranty and refund my money. Unfortunately, according to Mr. Deba, HP Spectre has been outsourced to India. All calls (all the phone numbers for HP offices in the US of A) go to the same two or three people in India who stubbornly refuse to honor HP’s declared warranty of one year. There is no way to reach anybody in the US. I don’t know which US court or agency is the most appropriate to resort to. Please comment if you have a solution for me. Meanwhile, I suggest that you stay away from this company. Their warranty is a sham!!!

    Bait-n-switch delivery dates

    Posted .

Beware of Best Buy's bait-n-switch delivery dates. I ordered this laptop 11/14/2024 for next-day delivery w/a $35 delivery fee. Next morning Best Buy charged my card for the full amount but said delivery would be two weeks later during Thanksgiving when we're not home. The customer "service" rep refused to cancel the order.
