This is the first HP lap top I have owed. It is super light. Screen is very clear. It boots up lightning fast and has worked great for me.

I look at several laptop and found this one to be an excellent buy. It powers up instantly with a 512GB SD drive, 16 GB memory and Intel 7 processor.

This HP Spectre PC has everything I need to play and work. I especially am enjoying the touch screen due to physical issues in my right hand/arm.

The specs are what got my attention for this laptop, but handling it really seals the deal. The keyboard is great, coming from a yoga 2 I was getting very frustrated with typing on it. Typing on the HP feels so much better. The build feels great, it definitely fits with the high end laptops. Anyone wondering about linux support, I installed ubuntu 16.10 and the only problem I had was with the laptop not sleeping when the lid was closed, but that was an easy fix. Other than that, everything works great out of the box (even the sound).

This computer is everything I had hoped and dreamed it would be. I spent weeks reading reviews on various brands, including Dell, Asus, Lenovo, Apple, and HP. I have had both Dell and HP computers before, and I have many Apple products, so I consider myself unbiased when it comes to technology. I usually do my due diligence and research the best products available at the time, and I review many many different sites to get all the opinions possible. This computer consistently had above average reviews on every site I checked. Many computer-tech sites called this one of the best 13inch 2-1 computers of 2016, and backed that up with computer tests and scores. I always want the best bang for the buck and after lots of research narrowed my options down to this HP, a Dell (not XPS), a best-buy exclusive Asus, and the Apple Air. I really wanted a computer that I could future-proof myself with, so as much RAM as I could get, a SSD, touch screen, and a reliable brand. Sure, an XPS might be slightly more impressive, but is it worth the extra $500-$700? Not to me isn't. Same thing with Apple; very impressive computers but I am not about top pay twice as much for the same thing. The Dell and Asus both felt cheaper than this computer and when I tested them I found flaws that bothered me (screen brightness, speed of the computer). This HP met every single one of my requirements AND it went on sale the week I decided to buy it ($100 off). This computer is super fast, very sturdy and solid frame/build, very responsive screen, amazing track pad, I really like Windows 10, and I am averaging 8 hours of battery life (surfing the web, itunes, streaming netflix). I have had the fan come on ONCE in nearly two weeks, and that was when I was transferring all my files from my old computer onto this new one AND one facebook app AND streaming video on ESPN. Soon as the transfer was over the fan went off. Also, when the fan WAS on, I could hardly hear it. You need to be in a silent room or have your ear right up to the computer to hear it. I want to point out I am coming from a very old computer (HP Pavillion from 2010) so all of these specs are super amazing to me. If you want to spend more money for the same thing, go with the XPS or Apple products. But if you want a computer that is currently the best bang for the buck then buy this computer! You won't be disappointed!

Love the laptop, flexible and just the right size for our soon to be college freshman. He did a lot of research and settled on this one.

This computer is super fast with the solid state drive. The 16gb of ram really keeps it running fast. Overall I am very impressed with it.

One of the best Ultrabook available. The screen is bright and sharp. The keyboard layout is good. The fit and finish is superb. The camera can see in the dark and can unlock the computer lock screen with your face just like the surface book. The reason to choose this over competition such as the new Lenovo yoga laptop is that it comes with thunderbolt 3 in the two USB C ports. This mean this laptop is future proof. The only thing I don't like about it is that the keyboard illumination only had one setting.

I was struggling between the HP and the Surface Book and am glad I went with HP. Much faster and more versatile for a cheaper price.
