this 2 and 1 is a great size and runs really well.

Great computer, fast processor, perfect for travel

I bought the computer and was very happy with it, initially. However with in the first two months, I noticed that it would not hold or take charge. I had to send it in for repairs. The agent said that it was a hardware issue. I felt that it was too soon to need repairs - It hadn't used it much and was disappointed that I had to send it in so soon after purchase. Hopefully the repairs are successful. The agent selling the device also did not seem to know too much about the item. He gave me very different specs than what was on the device that I received. I only relaized that after the fact - ofcourse.

when it works, it is great however the first one we bought had problems and lasted 1 year. now the replacement is having issues. not a lot of comfort having technical issues with both

After using the computer for two days, it stopped being able to log in. The screen after the usual login was black and nothing was able to restore the windows page.

I had a very powerful Dell XPS 14 but it got too hot and had needless power for what I wanted. My main requirements for this new laptop were: - the lightest and thinnest possible - Low heat - 2 in 1 so I could use the touchscreen - Super long battery life I compared many laptops and came down to this as the best option. I tested it in the store with many others and found this to be the best. I have now had it for about 2 months and absolutely love it. It is everything I wanted and more. The battery is lasting me at least 16 hours on average. I mostly use it to surf the web but I have office 365 installed on it as well. The laptop does not get hot unless it is in heavy use like downloading a 4GB windows update or using many apps at once that draw the processor to full use. Even then, it is not bad and easily livable with a small piece of wood or plastic under it. Honestly, the complaints about heat issues are kind of lame given there is no fan in this laptop and given that, heat is dissipated via the bottom of the laptop. Either way, this laptop is amazing and I love everything about it. I wouldn't recommend the 4k display as you will never use it for laptop use. The windows settings for that display are set at 300% for font and icons so that you can actually read the display. If you use the 4k at 100% font size, the windows button is 1/16" by 1/16" which is unusable. The 4K display is a gimick and I was told gets extremely hot and has no battery life. Unlike this display which you only have to run at about 125% or 150% for viewing pleasure and then you do have the full 1080p display when you want the display to be fully utilized. In summary, super light, has a full USB slot, easy to charge and charges to 50% in like 1-2 hours, great size, comes with a leather like sleeve, great battery life and great screen for the touchscreen portion/tablet function. Also, comes with a pen.

Bought for my daughters freshman year at college. She uses daily and no issues to date other than the USB port breaking

I bought this giving preference over surface book. But I was a little disappointed with the heating up issue.otherwise it was a nice purchase.

I was so disappointed with the battery life on this computer, the battery was completely flat after 5 hours of use. For a company to claim much better life then the machine deliver only 5 hours was un acceptable. I have exchanged it for a different brand and am extremely happy with the battery life on the new machine. Unfortunately the new machine does not have all the bells and whistles that the HP had, at least it has a respectable battery life. As a HP shareholder it was even more difficult to return the Laptop. The positive to take from this experience was the fact that BestBuy took the machine back no questions asked. Thanks BestBuy!

Not a bad laptop, but alittle slow.. I wish I would have purchased the one with more memory...

Save your money and don't get sucked in by the beautiful exterior and nice keyboard. They will still look nice in the dumpster when the internal components fail a month after warranty ends. This unit has all parts soldered to the motherboard - including the battery and charge port. Guess what, this means when ANYTHING fails you have to drop $800 on a new motherboard or replace the whole computer. And fail they will - mine did twice in two years. I promise you you will regret buying HP.

After only one month it is slowing down while using and taking longer than normal to turn on and load settings. I actually have an appointment w/ the Geek Squad today to see what's wrong.

This 2-in-1 had all the specs, but wouldn't run Windows after setup - right out of the box. Big hassle bringing it back and waiting for Geek Squad to come to the same conclusion. They traded it for a another new one, and it had the same critical problem. Bought a Lenovo instead.

this machine looks and feels great ,I liked it very much ,machine crashed on the initial setup , after that it crashed 3 times , not really sure if its a software issue or hardware issue. returning this machine.its been less than 24 hours I bought this machine , that's a quick return :)

Sound driver issues from very early on in owning this laptop. Now, 2.5 years in, and the battery doesn't hold it's charge. Never again HP. Moving on to another brand.

Motherboard was completely fried. Only used it two days to get updates on computer and settings set. Returned it and opted for a different computer.

Was really enjoying this computer for two years until the battery swelled up and ruined the $1,000 computer.

Had this less than 2 weeks and broke. Apparently HP has been having serious issues. Wish the sales tro informed me of this before I purchased.

I've jhad this laptop for a little over a year and the motherboard has died -- total piece of crap. I will never buy another HP laptop.
