Customers are delighted by the Spectre x360's lightweight design, long battery life, and responsive keyboard. Many appreciate its portability and compact size, finding it ideal for travel and everyday use. However, some users noted that the device can get warm under heavy use and has a limited number of ports. The fan noise was also mentioned as a minor drawback by a few customers.

I purchased this laptop based on the many positive reviews I'd read online. I haven't been disappointed. It's thin and light, the keyboard is great and the IR camera with Windows Hello makes logging on quick and easy. Battery life has been great as well, and the fact that it uses USB-C for charging is great, as I can bring one less cable with me in my bag! I would definitely get this laptop again.

I really like the HP Spectrum. It's small enough to go anywhere, but big enough to watch movies and videos. It's super fast, and HP tech support is pretty quick and responsive for non-Geek Squad stuff. As always, I was especially appreciative of the expert help I got from the Best Buy staff; I am clueless about computers, and the sales guy recommended this one, It's been a real gem for me.

Had the first version of the Spectre....and I must say the improvements they have made might be subtle...but pretty much make this laptop hard to find an area that needs improvement! They even managed to make this one lighter...but still feels very solid!! THERE IS DEFINITELY A REASON THIS IS MY SECOND SPECTRE!! :) A++++

This is a really powerful and versatile laptop. Lightweight, attractive and loaded, I've been very pleased with the speed and the display. The Hello facial recognition security was an added bonus. The only drawback so far is that it is not always easy to open.

Good: speed, weight, price, great monitor quality for movies
Battery Life: very poor. HP discovered that battery drains about 10-15 per day when shut down. HP resolved the problem over the phone but it took 3 hours. HP was great to work with but a little difficult to get a hold of by phone. I also wasted 3 weeks updating the BIOS (common fix listed on line) and monitoring battery life/recharging before calling HP. I would still recommend for the price ( $800) if you understand that there may be a battery issue that needs resolved.

This is a nifty little computer. We purchased it to replace a 17" that has seen better days. It was an HP too, but it was so old that it required a forklift to carry it around! Seriously though, the reason we bought this new laptop was because of the reliability of our previous HP. And this one is amazingly thin and light in comparison. So far I have found it very easy to work with, even with Windows 10, and I'm happy with it. The only downside is that it only has one USB port. Since I'm not completely comfortable with the touch screen yet, I'm pretty reliant on my mouse which I have to unplug if I need that port for moving stuff from flash drives, etc. Also, there is no optical drive which I'm getting used to. But since most software downloads from websites nowadays, it hasn't been that big of a deal.

Almost purchased last year's model but decided to wait. This one is smaller, thinner, a bit more powerful. Great size. Windows 10 has matured enough to work smoothly. Touch interface convinced me to put down the Apple and pick up the HP...a good decision so far.

This laptop is lite, easy to use, has speed, and the display is great. I am 70 and was worried the screen would be a stain for old eyes-NO PROBLEM, resolution and brightness are great. No issues in one years use. SSD plus I7 is all most folks will use.

Had been waiting for the new Macbook Pro laptops to come out and was not overly impressed with them for the price. I generally use an iMac or Macbook Pro, and my Windows laptop is used to keep current with Windows OS, but was bulky to travel with. I saw this on sale for a great price and bought it. I have also had some problems with HP computers in the past and was hesitant at first to buy an HP laptop.
I have to say this laptop is top quality, lightweight, fast, and works great! HP did a great job on this one. For the features, CPU and SSD speed, high resolution screen, USB ports, HP's update and notification software, etc., this is a great laptop. With the sale price it was far cheaper than the new Macbook Pro. It also had excellent reviews that I saw online.
Would definitely recommend buying this computer if the specs fit your needs.

Let me say this, HP has come far and the last few years when it comes to build quality, and it certainly shows on this device. Almost all metal even on the inside. However, the antenna design could be better, my wireless gives me sufficient speeds for web browsing and downloads, but local file transfers are where you can really see what I'm referring to, the transfers aren't steady. It'll go from 20MB-50MB and any number in between. But most people won't be doing this on a daily basis so the average user would find this laptop very suitable. I plan on using this to finish my bachelor's and grad school for Information Technology, and I think it will work just fine for that purpose and more.

I was shopping for a higher end ultrabook and was debating between the HP and the Dell XPS13. In the end, I went with the HP Spectre x360 and have been very happy. Overall, I think it provides a better value. The Dell is a little more compact and feels like it has a slightly better build quality, but (to me) the keyboard was a little too cramped and made my typing slower. The HP came in a couple of hundred dollars less than the Dell for comparable specs and has a better feeling keyboard. The build quality still feels solid (just not as very solid as the Dell). The only negative on the HP so far is the right shift key also doubles as a pause button, so you need to hit it in the right area for it to work.

My 2011 MacBookPro is about ready to crash and my husband is ready to retire. So we agreed to get a Windows laptop that both of us could use with me the primary user. I could not understand Windows 8 at all but 10 is very similar to XP. I bought the Missing Manual so I could get a better understanding of this new system. I miss my Mac but so far, this 2 in 1 laptop is pretty slick. It is light with good key feel. The touch pad sensitivity needs some tweaking as soon as I find that chapter. The leather sleeve is a nice touch and it charges up very quickly. As we have an HP eprinter, connection was a snap too. Next step is to get my pictures transferred over from the Mac which the Geek squad can do.

I couldn't be happier with this laptop. Great combination of perfomance, weight and style. It's not the best in class in any one of those three dimensions, but it's probably one of the best in combining all three. I was debating between the HP Spectre and the Dell XPS 13. Overall, the Dell seemed to have a slightly better build quality. However, the HP won me over based on (1) better price/value, (2) better keyboard -- I found the Dell keyboard a little too cramped for me, and (3) location of webcam, which also allows for Windows Hello.
