Not a huge fan of the color but the power and storage this computer packs is huge. Tested a few netflix movies and it is clear as day. Very impressed by the the 4k oled. Battery is great I haven't found myself plugging it in too much. The only thing I wish is that it would be packed with even a slightly better graphics card as the mx250 is too basic.

Really can't figure out how nobody is complaining about it. Now more than ever a good Webcam is a most and this awesome laptop just falls short. It's a 2 MP cam using a 2006 driver. Everything looks like an old TV broadcast show. Not lying, see it for yourself.
Support was not able to help. On the other hand, the screen is beautiful! Rich colors. The sound, oh my! May be the only thing to make me decide to keep it. 4 speakers, music plays cristal clear!! Voices on video call not so much but was expected.
It was expected that the battery last just a few hours because the high demand specs. I'm can live with that.
If you don't do video calls (Shame on you! Practice social distancing, please!) then this is a very good laptop. Could be EXCELLENT if they fix the camera and extend battery life.

I've had the laptop for about 3 weeks now. Overall, really great laptop. Not heavy and easy to setup and use. Screen is beautiful. Mousepad is a little touchy at times but is more related to my adjusting from an old laptop. Backlit keyboard is a nice gesture my previous laptop did not have.
The fan runs intermittently and can be heard from about 10 feet away. This doesn't bother me and is understandable for the nice processor.
Battery lasts about 5-6 hours under normal use. I have not watched any movies yet so I'm not sure how this would impact battery life.
I would purchase again.

Fastest laptop I've owned. Perfect for photography, but you MUST calibrate the screen first. Out of the box, the reds are too intense, but easily calibrated. I've owned the laptop for about 3 weeks now, and I am extremely happy. Boots up fast, programs load super fast, and editing RAW files from a 24 megapixel camera using Lightroom is a breeze. However, last night, I noticed that the speaker output was uneven---the left speaker was significantly louder than the right. Downloaded and updated the audio drivers, uninstalled and installed the drivers, to no avail. Finally, I did a hard reset by pressing the power button for 15 seconds. And voila, the speakers are fine again. So yeah, I would still highly recommend this laptop. Audio is not a big deal for me because I have other devices/equipment for listening to music and watching movies, so the minor speaker hiccup is not a deal breaker. And it was fixed anyway.

Gem cut body lines, eligant rose gold and beautiful grey make this laptop stand above all the others. Top it off with a 15.6" 4k Ultra HD Touch screen at a native 3840 x 2160 resolution make your eye balls climax. Utilizing a 10th GEN Intel Core i7-10510U 14nm processor with a base speed of 1.8 GHz and a Turbo Boost Speed of 4.90 GHz!! handle any task with ease. 16 GB of DDR4-2400 memory on tap will keep running silky smooth. Massive 1TB SSD give you more than enough hardrive space for all your photos, movies, music and games top that off with a 32GB Optane SSD make any task lighting fast! Loading times are a thing of the past! Back light keyboard, over sized track pad and Bang & Olufsen speakers are the icing on the cake. Choosing this as my MBP upgrade was a great choice. I am very happy with this laptop and show it off to everyone every chance i get.

I had a checklist and was able to tick off everything and more. Since I purchased it, I have had no problems. I like the backlit keyboard, which comes on automatically when I start to type. I like the touch pad because it is not too sensitive. It doesn't move all over the screen with the slightest touch. I like the color, the design, and the weight. The only downside, is that it does not have a built in DVD player so I had to purchase an external one. For me, it was a great buy!

I am pleasantly surprised with this HP Spectre. I have had 2-HP Pavilion laptops that I LOVED all the way to the end of their tech lifespan. My 5-year old Pavilion was on the way to needing life support when the pandemic hit and every student in the state had to complete the academic year via technology, so the demand for laptops was higher than supply. No comparable Pavilion models were available so I settled for this Spectre. I now LOVE it too. It looks good, is fast , I have the storage I need, it sounds good, the graphics and colors are fantastic and I upgraded to a touch screen. I was sad to move on from my Pavilion and will be just as sad when this laptop comes to the end of its tech life.

I love this laptop so far. Very versatile, the touch screen is great to have and it even has a stylus! #winning
My IT person didn't think I needed to spend the extra on a 4K Ultra monitor but the crisp clarity when that's warranted is amazing. Glad I did it. It's a lot of machine in a smaller package, it's not even that much bigger than my Surface tablet but I use it at my home/office exclusively for now. Way smaller & lighter than the 6 year old machine it replaced.
The ONLY thing I think I'd like to see is more standard USB ports. Even one more would be great. But that's it. Highly recommend this machine.

We use these as business laptops, that fully support all our software needs in a sleek and stylish package. Runs very fast, and has a nice smooth finish to the touch screen that makes it easy for your finger or stylus to glide over. Works well in both laptop.and tablet mode. The battery is decent, allowing around 6 hours of work using a software like AutoCAD

Got this laptop for my wife who had been without one for a while (she uses iPad with keyboard attached for most things). I wanted to get one she could use for some time into future. This met that requirement. She loves it, and uses it for all her banking, shopping, video watching (the screen is excellent and picture quality is super), etc. Got this when it was $200 off list price, but there should be better value as time goes by. Very happy with this purchase.

This computer has met my expectations and lived up to the manufacturer's claims. Starts up, shuts down and works very fast. The screen is excellent. I also like the full sized keyboard which makes things easier for me. I have read some reviews about people being unsure about the color scheme and I was unsure at first too. It has grown on me since then and I think it looks cool.

I have been using a Microsoft Surface Book for the last few years and have been spoiled. When the time came for me to buy a new computer for work, I did a lot of research and found that COnsumer Reports rated this Laptop from HP as one of the highest ranked laptops in their tests for 2019.
I am not a gamer - but I do a lot f photo editing, word, Excel and Powerpoint documents and so this Spectre X360 looked like it was the perfect Laptop for my needs.
I was impressed from the moment I opened the box. Great looking LapTop, incredible display (OLED) and great sounding speakers. I found nothing to complain about, nothing that I wished it did that it doesn't, it is the perfect lap top for me and I couldn't be happier.
If you do some gaming, I understand that this computer will be ok, but it apparently doesn't have the kind of graphics Card you need to do the really immersive graphics fo today's video games. But then I don't play games so that is perfectly fine by me.
All in all, a beautiful lap top with a gorgeous screen, fast processor, plenty of memory and even a stylus if you do any drawing work that needs a stylus. Far better than the last HP I owned - and as good or better than the Microsoft Surface Book I used to use.

I love my new Spectre! Fast loading, 4K display is awesome. Coming from a Lenovo YOGA, this is a beast. I was a little disappointed with the sound. I was expecting a better sound out of this laptop. It's a little heavy but feels durable and sturdy. The pad is noisy IMO but accurate.
Pricey! Overall, I'm satisfied. Top of the line laptop.

We bought this laptop to replace an aging desktop that had an external disk drive. It was real easy to set up and hook to a new docking station. Speakers sound great and the speed is phenomenal. Best part is the storage fit all the photos and videos that were on the external disk drive.

So far, So Good. Haven't had any issues yet. It was on the expensive side, more than I wanted to spend, but I read reviews and it is much better built than the Envy and I want to keep this for a long time. I bought this laptop because I wanted to back up all my Apple Devices and my 512 hard drive on my MacBook Pro was out of storage space. The 1TB on this laptop has plenty of headroom for me. I also agreed to pay more for this model because it is a tablet as well. So easy to flip over to tablet mode, really is a 2 in 1 with a ton of storage. The hinges are so well built, and awesome! Also, I insist on a full number key pad if I am going to spend my own money, which this size does offer. Lastly, I know some laptops are going OLED for the display, which might be a bit sharper, however this is an Organic display, similar to the old Plasma TV's. They can suffer image burn-in, which concerns me. So I am happy that this does not have OLED. No Burn-in concerns if I leave it on for any reason.

Bought this laptop after 2 disappointing Asus laptop purchases. Both Asus laptops would blue screen at the most inconvenient times. I paid significantly more for the HP for features I do not need. What I wanted was speed and I have that. So I am very happy.

I needed a replacement for my Microsoft Surface 3. After a bit of research, the HP Spectre was the one that fit my needs. I am not disappointed with this purchase. I love the 15" screen. Faster downloads make using the net a lot easier. Knowing that I have 1TB SSD means no worries about storage space. The backlit keyboard is very comfortable and it's easy to see in dim or dark lighting. It's nice having the number keypad. The fingerprint reader was a nice bonus that I was not aware of when I did my research.
I mainly use the laptop at home so I have no comments regarding weight or battery usage, but I don't expect any problems.
One small quibble, there is no indicator to show if the num lock is engaged or not (like on the caps lock). A small (very small) annoyance, but not a deal-breaker.
All in all, I am very happy with this purchase. and would not hesitate to recommend the HP Specter to a friend.
