The touchscreen cracked easily. Cost about $400 to replace the screen. The metal finish is great but offers no protection for the device

I do not spend a lot of time on the computer and I expect to be able to do e-mail in outlook without having to get into the program again after every message I read or send. Stop wasting my time. If a message has a link to a website, nothing tells you to click a couple of additional tabs to get to the website. Other familiar programs also take extra time to do tasks that previously took a single click. Does Windows 10 not work well with Quicken, Turbo Tax? Built in 10 key pad would be better

I had DELL laptop whose motherboard died and i started shopping for a new laptop. My personal choice was to go for DELL again but for some unknown reason i wanted to try HP or Lenovo this time. 2 laptops which i looked at were Lenovo Yoga and HP Spectre 15". I bought this "HP - Spectre x360 2-in-1 15.6 4K Ultra HD Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Natural Silver" thinking that i am getting a great laptop for the money i paid but i am sorry to say that i am kind of dissappointed. I initially have few issues. 1) Sound card stops working often. - HP support was able to fix this by upgrading the BIOS but soon again i started seeing this issue again but was unable to replicate this time. 2) I wanted to use this laptop to connect to work PC from home using VPN client. Just to open VPN client it takes atleast minimum 5 mins and during that time i dont know what is going on on this laptop. 3) Sometimes as soon as i logon to the laptop and open IE Edge or Chrome, i see that it will take almost 5 mins for the internet connection to start working. Again cannot see what is going on on this laptop during that time. I could not return it as i started seeing these issues only after 2-3 week return period.

Good pc/tablet for the price however I was hoping that the battery would hold a charge longer.

Very hard to open, hard to find and push the tiny little button on the side of the laptop to turn it on. When using under fluorescent lighting the key board is very hard to see. When accessing the Internet it was very slow. It's not for me, I will be returning it, someone else may love it. As they say "To each his own"

With the hardware this thing comes with it's pretty good, I do wish that the screen had a more accurate stylus for it.

I was impressed by the good looks & specs of this product. I was also ready to pay the full price till the store associate showed me an open box without any issues and certified by geek squad. But to my surprise no audio at all even after restarting and upgrading software :-( had to return the next day and the store geek squad guy had no clue. Please be careful with this one

The computer is great but would be better if it had a cd/DVD program.

This is an awesome laptop with the exception of the battery life. I have worked with support and tried everything, but I get about 4 hours max usage time, and on sleep mode it loses about 20% battery life per day. Based on the other reviews I may have a lemon, but looking at support sites I see others with the same problems with battery life.

This is way too fragile and delicate piece with high repair parts. Dont get it

- I studied this product for long time before buying . - after buying, I brought back Vietnam . when installed the software, the 1st & 2nd IT engineers in my country found out that the KEYBOARD is ERROR. I not believed, so I hired another 3rd one who I knew so well., He install the KEYBOARD TESTING software into this laptop. He also confirmed that the keyboard is ERROR, then he showed me 3 buttons got ERROR : LEFT MOUSE -- right & left button .. also when I want to type all the upper lines characters such as : !,@ # $ % & * ^ ... I could not BUT must change the SHIFT function to STICKY KEY ?? - also the keyboard case is silver color & numbers print on each button also WHITE which made really difficult for user to SEE > - I love this Laptop since I saw it : it has good spec, good looking & light with big screen.. BUT big problem is Keyboard .. NEED to improve the KEYBOARD totally >

I bought one out of the box and returned it, then paid for a brand new one. Both had problems with the screen going schizoid at a random schedule. Then the brand new one would not connect to the internet by ethernet or wireless. Talking to the Geek Squad rep when I brought the new one in, he stated they have had problems with this model, which is unusual for HP computers. Once HP works out the bugs may be worth buying, but not at this time.

Just Google "hp spectre screen cracked" for many, many people like me complaining that they closed the lid on their laptop, opened it the next day, and it was cracked all the way across, and HP will not fix it under warranty. https://www.google.com/#q=hp+spectre+screen+cracked The screen on these crack under normal use, and HP is charging $500 to repair them. I'm over 50 years old, and i'm gentle on my equipment so it will last a few years before needing updating or replacing, and I expected that something built to double as a tablet would be built stronger to handle the extra stress, but this is certainly not. I didn't even use it as a tablet after trying it out a couple times, because it's too big and I already have an iPad, so it was only opened and closed like you would open and close a normal laptop.

It's not as good as I thought it would be it's better than what I had

Everything about this laptop is great but the keyboard. Within a month of buying, the keys are producing a creaking sound as if it needs some kind of oiling (weird way of explaining the sound experience). The sound is so loud that while taking calls using my laptop, if I am typing, the other person can hear those creepy sounds. I don't understand how it is happening but I never expected this from HP. Other than that, specs and the build is awesome. UHD display is awesome. However, please bear in mind that some of the apps are NOT built for such high resolution and hence, their UI appear too small while working. It is not the laptop's fault but if you are considering using corporate apps like Webex, AT&T Connect etc, then don't buy this laptop as such applications are very hard to work on.

Purchased for my wife for xmas. About a month ago, she opened the laptop only to find the screen had cracked. Went to HP site to investigate and found many users with same complaint. Contacted HP and they said we must have damaged it. We told the rep there were other complaints on their web site about the same issue. They asked us to send a picture. We did. After waiting a week, my wife called again. This time they said we must have had an object on the keyboard when it was closed. They also indicated they did not believe the what other people said on their site and that they were all fake! They said unless we were going to have it repaired for several hundred dollars, to have a nice day. This is the last time I purchase an HP product!

Options are vast. Don't really need all the options offered.
