Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the responsive touch screen, strong performance, and lightweight design of the Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop. Positive feedback also frequently mentions the long battery life and fast SSD. However, some users note that the laptop can get warm during use and that the fan can be noisy at times. The relatively high price point is also a recurring concern for some customers.

Bought for my wife and she loves it. Little heavy, but worth it. Sleek, super fast. No issues with it. SSD is awesome. Will not need upgrading for a long time. Best HP I've ever had. Only downfall is it has only 1 regular usb. Does have 2 usb c ports

The solid state construction of the drive was what sold me. Additionally, there is ample storage and program operating capacity to support long term use without needing to upgrade. I like the larger monitor and the ability to operate in tablet form. I have always been satisfied with hp products and believe that this computer will deliver the same level of performance.

I bought this laptop because I wanted some newer technology (SSD, 4K display, etc.). The 4K display is outstanding. Images are sharp and the colors and contrast are top notch. The 4K really improves readability. The touch pad is silky smooth. The facial recognition on Windows Hello is really neat. Boot up time is super fast. Great machine. I don't regret this purchase.

Laptop is a work of art. The packaging made you feel like you were opening up something really special...which I was. Screen is bright and crisp. Good sound. Lightweight compared to my old Samsung Chronos. Really glad there was an HP rep that guided me to HP. I was looking at either another Samsung or Asus. HP never seemed to be a high performance laptop. I pondered it for about 2 weeks before I bought it. I'm glad I did. 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 4K, dedicated graphics card. It's hard to beat. Only wish it had a number pad.

I was initially hesitant to buy what I considered to be an expensive laptop from HP. I did some research and kept coming back to this laptop as a good option for my needs of portability, processing speed, and technology. After working with it now for several weeks, I'm quite pleased. The screen is beautiful (4K), battery life is great, processing speed and startup speeds are exceptional, and ports have been a pleasant surprise (including USB-C, USB, HDMI, and SD)--a nice variety for a wide variety of peripherals. A few items that I wish it had: number pad (I bought an external one) and a dedicated Ethernet port for those times in which speed and consistent connection are important (I bought a USB-C peripheral dongle with an Ethernet port which appears to work well). Both of those options would have increased the bulk of the laptop, so it makes sense that they didn't include it--but thought it would help to share what I felt I needed to add to it. Overall, I'm very pleased with the laptop and definitely feel the extra cost brought a significant upgraded over many laptops out there with slower processes, lower-resolution screens, and without a dedicated graphics card. With $30 of added peripherals, I had everything I need. Nice work HP!

This laptop replaces a Dell with a SSD drive that lasted only 6 months! According to the Geek Squad and a Microsoft rep they both agreed that this was a top of the line laptop. It is lightning fast with an excellent display! Haven't had any problems and after looking at comments online it looks like things should be trouble free!

LaptopMag- With its top-tier performance, exquisite design, 10-hour battery life and convertible versatility, the Spectre x360 isn't just the best 2-in-1 currently available; it might the best laptop HP has ever made. Yes, the hinge could be stiffer, and I wish HP hadn't ditched the SD card slot, but overall, the x360 is the convertible laptop to beat.

I bought this laptop for completing my computer science masters and i have to say it's one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. the computer has top of the line specs and discrete nvidia graphics to help you handle work and a little gaming. plus the 4k screen is drop dead gorgeous. i didn't think I'd notice the 4k resolution on a 15.6" screen but I was so wrong. Text looks so crisp, videos look so high def, images look so clear. The display doesnt seem to be a full hdr 10 display (still looking for an hdr benchmark tool) but it seems to have some level of hdr as the colors do pop out. this laptop is great for coding, 4k and high display ppi give you plenty of screen real estate so you don't have to endlessly keep scrolling thru your lines of code. however, if you enable 4k resolution, the scaling of icons will be very tiny for 3rd party non microsoft programs and apps. I have good glasses that i wear all the time so it doesn't bother me. also, the pen is great for note taking. in class, i use onenote to type notes and am able to take screenshots of my professors' PDF, paste in onenote, and markup their slides with the stylus while they explain the diagram on their slides. Its seamlessly integrated with the OS and will quickly detect pen input and allow me to markup/draw without me having to select the pen type or color, it just knows. only thing that this unit lacks is standars USB ports, which it only has 1 of. however, the laptop is future proof since there are USB C ports (one for charging) and a thunderbolt port. I like that i can buy a USB C compatible power book and charge the laptop with that instead of having to hunt for an electrical outlet. i will be buying a usb c to usb 3.0 hub as i do need more usb ports. battery life works great for me, it lasts me thru all my class sessions. so far I've used it for 7 hours straight and it still had 50% juice left, though i was on power saving mode and mostly text editing/coding. design is sexy, one of the best looking windows ultrabook on the market. very thin. heads will turn. all in all, the best laptop ive ever purchased. i believe itll last me a while and it can handle everything i throw at it.

This laptop is great. Has a long battery life, which allows me to get through my entire work day on a single charge. Also has a lot of nice features, the digital pen, touch screen, facial recognition, etc that come in handy. I gave this laptop four stars instead of five only because the first one I had was defective and I had to return it. The second one I got works perfectly so far.

I bought this for my son as a gift for college. After reviewing and researching this one seemed to be the best. Price was on the high side, but I've been buying computers since the '90s and you always get the best and pay for it. Performance is outstanding and it's profile -- incredible. Big touchscreen, thin and light. AWESOME!
