Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the responsive touch screen, strong performance, and lightweight design of the Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop. Positive feedback also frequently mentions the long battery life and fast SSD. However, some users note that the laptop can get warm during use and that the fan can be noisy at times. The relatively high price point is also a recurring concern for some customers.

    Very Good but not Great

My touch pad is finicky and I don't think my screen gets as bright as it should. It is a 4K screen but the difference between lowest light and brightest light does not seem like enough difference. Friends of mine have HP and a couple of them said the same thing. It is very fast, easy to set up and and looks snazzy.

so far nothing but good things to say. if I had to knit pick then I would say the facial recognition for sign in is very slow but otherwise it is perfect and I love it. Great power, speed, multitasking (I have 15 chrome tabs open and no lag). And the design is flawless.

I bought the 15 inch 4K model. I love the screen AND THE SPEED. price is steep but you get the basic accessaries included--Pen and Laptop sleeve. Chose thie over the Dell. Didn't like the Dell camera position--knuckles and nose should not be a part of you Skype video.

An elegant laptop that is great in every way. Lithe enough to be taken with you, beefy enough to play most of your favorite games. Small enough to fit inside your briefcase, big enough... to not be handy as a tablet! Yep, this thing weighs just a little too much and is sized just a little too large to be useful as a tablet. And that really makes it hard to justify paying the extra cash for that feature. So most excellent laptop, and mostly useless as a tablet.

Love this laptop, it's great for taking notes and I can draw out structures for my clinical courses. The only thing is sometimes my google chrome freezes when flip the laptop around and don't go into tablet mode but that's only happened a few times. It's fast and reliable, basically what I need as a student!

The screen quality is great and I love the ease with which you can flip between laptop-use and tablet-use. I also like how the operating system feels like a hybrid between a normal PC operating system and a mobile device (very 'apps" feeling, which suits me well).

Bought this instead of a Lenovo 2-in-1 after seeing this one that had just been put on display. I use a MacBook Pro for personal use but needed Windows OS for business purposes. This laptop has a better 4K display than my MacBook and is much faster. Great keyboard too.

Ecellent computer with many features for a small flexible computer. The speed is fast, the design is sleet and the 360 capability is my number one feature. I would recommend this product to all who wants a powerful computer that can also be used as a tablet.

Went in to the store intending to buy a Surface Book, but this HP laptop really shined against the SB and was over $1000 cheaper. It's light, thin, and the 4k screen is fantastic. I've had it a few months now and haven't found anything I don't like about it.

I've had this computer for almost 3 months now and have had little to no problems. When I first turned on the computer everything worked fine then the next day the "P" key stopped working so I brought it back to Best Buy and they fixed it no problem. Since then it's been running smoothly. I used it non stop for a month and I do feel like the battery life is shorter (but that was just because I was playing a game and writing essays). Now I use the computer every couple of days. I check Facebook, go on the internet, check and write emails, and write essays. I'd say I charge it every two weeks or so. When I do go on it to do these things it's periodically throughout the day, no longer than 2 hours. I don't even notice the weight since it is in my backpack with my notebooks. Over all I really like the computer and I think it will work perfectly for me in college!

Having a 4k display is pretty nice, but be warned that the OS comes zoomed in at 200% just to make things large enough to look normal. I zoomed back to 150% so I can leverage the larger desktop space that many pixels provides, but it does mean that things like menu text, icons and even web pages show up unexpectedly small (I had one website that actually looked like it wasn't loading properly, but it was just not filling the whole screen like I'd been used to). My other complaint is that there is no replacement power supply available. With my previous laptop, I had four power supplies (work, upstairs, studio, and one I carried with me in my bag). Because this device charges via the USB-C port, and the charging port is reportedly crippled (won't work with 3rd party chargers), I'm stuck with the single charger that it comes with. On the up-side, even with several hours of use in the evening at home, I really don't need to charge it, so I could probably leave the charger at work. Previously I had a 17" laptop and this one is a LOT smaller. The keyboard is pretty decent, but too small to have a 10-key number pad (which I didn't realize how much I used until I didn't have one). I wish they'd have found a way to arrange the arrow keys so that all four could be full-size keys (the up and down arrows are half-size and use the space of a single key). A couple of reviews I'd read said the speakers were surprisingly loud. I didn't find that, but they are sufficient for watching videos and most media. I recently purchaesd a JBL Flip 3 and paired it with my laptop via Bluetooth. It has been working quite well and I like the sound of the flip quite a bit better than the built-in speakers. I tried to use the laptop in tablet mode once, even with the stylus, and I'm having a hard time getting used to working with it that way. I'm finding I still like taking paper notes and scanning them if I want an electronic copy. That said, I do like the touch-screen a lot. When showing other people content on the screen, it's nice being able to just reach and grab, or drag, or even "click" things with my finger. If you're looking for a premium laptop, and considering the Spectre X360 15" with 4k display, I'd say just get it. You'll be happy. Oh, and my Galaxy Note 5 just got the Nougut upgrade! Woo Hoo! Not that this has anything to do with my laptop, but I figured you might be happy for me. :D
