During my review of several products with a 4K screen and the newest processor left me no other choice then to go with the HP - the price at the end did make the difference. The system runs as I hoped - fast, reliable and smooth.

So far, I really like my purchase. Have not had a problem with it yet. Nice and durable. Takes a while to get used to all the apps and all the extras. Only issue that I did not see was the headphone port - need to get an adapter.

My son has truly enjoyed his HP. My main purpose for purchasing it was for his course work and assignments but he has found many other features for his day to day entertainment as well. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I had been saving up for a laptop to use for my Graphic Design work in both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop so I looked at both this and the Surface Pro 4. The Pro 4 was already pretty powerful but it had a smaller screen, had a previous gen processor, no dedicated graphics card, and you have to purchase a type cover too. This on the other hand has an up to date processor, a bigger display, a dedicated Nvidia Geforce 940MX graphics card (albeit being a previous gen card), and you do not have to worry about purchasing an external keyboard for it. The build quality is gorgeous and so is the screen! Typing feels great on it even though my unit has only one key that does not click and feels mushy (the fast forward button) and the glass trackpad feels really smooth. One thing about the typing experience is that I had to adjust having the keyboard shifted by one key but it did not take much time to do so. Now when I tested out those aforementioned Adobe products, I was surprised at how well this machine could run them. I was only expecting acceptable speeds but it runs smoothly for the most part! One thing you might have to note is that it runs the fans and they may annoy you if you do not like the sound since it is pretty noticeable. I use earphones almost every time I use this laptop so it never bothered me. The speakers are really good and loud except that the bass is lacking when I was testing it out. The battery performance is actually really good! I was on the internet, streaming music, and using Illustrator and went about 7 hours on a single charge! You would only have to charge it once or twice a day. The charging cable uses a 3-prong plug so just a heads up. Pen works well and there is a place in the laptop sleeve to put it (sleeve is included in the box) so I do not have to worry about losing it in my bag. All in all, I was very impressed with this machine and would definitely recommend this to designers who has a budget around $1600 (I paid an extra $100 for sales tax in case you needed to think about the final cost). I would also recommend paying for at least the 1-year Geek Squad support too.

This is an excellent laptop & the logon with Facial Recognition is extremely fast making login security a breeze. Included pen works flawlessly as if you were writing on paper. It's an impressive laptop/tablet computer.

Has done everything I needed it to do for work and school. Awesome graphics. Had a charging problem where AC plug was recognized but not charging. Took back to store, swapped out for a new computer. No problems ever since.

I thought about buying the smaller version of the spectre, but fell in love with the bigger version. It felt sturdier. Being able to write or type is wonderful for jotting down ideas for work. Great for browsing for fun.

Excellent computer. Always purchased HP products except last time on a suggestion purchased a D?LL. HUGH MISTAKE Computer was the worst and junk. Finally back to HP and everything is great. No problems and works fantastic.

This is my first return to a Windows environment after owning Macs for so long. I've loved this computer so far. Touchscreen, tablet mode, screen pen. It's been a great, easy transition back into the world of Windows.

I loved the speakers on the HP Spectrum laptop and the screan resolution was sharp but it took a long time to load programs and the battery would get really hot when charging so I ended up returning it

The HP Spectre, 15.6, 4K is awesome and fast. I bought it for her for Mother's Day and it is worth every penny. She can see family pictures clear and enjoy the internet. The software is top-notch and we are very happy.

This computer is fast and the display is beautiful. HP has stepped up their game as far as quality and feel of this product. It is truly a premium looking and feeling laptop and the specs are great.

I bought this laptop to bring with me to college as an engineering student. It seems to have a lot of storage and a great deal of power. The graphics are great, and I really like the ability to use it as a tablet.

this is the first laptop that was so easy to use and get used to as well, fluid movement and processes. It is also light weight, beautiful bronze. A very powerful beautiful machine. (OK i got the bronze! )

Was really grateful that we had a very knowledgeable young lady show us around and showed us laptops in a particular category, without bias. She was great and now my daughter has a great laptop for college.

I'm going to school for architecture and civil engineering so I needed something with a graphics card, and I also wanted something touchscreen to take notes on. I must say I love everything about it. It's just a gorgeous laptop but I think mine was defective. It would get extremely hot. I like to have it sitting on my lap but after 30 minutes of being on YouTube I felt like my skin was burning. I tolerate heat very well and I just couldn't stand how hot it got. I've seen other reviews of it getting warm but mine got ridiculously hot and I had to return it. I'm scared to get another one and it do the same thing. I loved the spectre I just wish it didn't get so hot.. not worth burning my skin.

sleek, fast, powerful. wanted to do photo editing on the go, this has the power to do it, windows ink is new to me but is a great tool. still learning it's capabilities but I love working with this laptop.

I was skeptical buying a Windows computer since I have had a Mac Book pro since the beginning of time. But I actually like this computer way more. It's an excellent computer and well worth the money.

I originally purchased the 13 inch model and returned for this one. I'm glad I did. I use it for editing pictures and normal computer use. It has had better battery than expected for such a large 4k screen and has been extremely fast.

I reviewed the information before I purchased this laptop computer. The reviews were consistently very good. Instead of paying for a Mac, I choose to stay with a PC based computer at half the price.
