Lets start off with the specs are good for this laptop, but the memory is already maxed out at 16gb and the 500gb hard drive is just adequate. The screen is awesome and is nice to watch movies and such on. Now what makes me want to throw this at a wall is the touch pad. It is the worst most infuriating piece of garbage if have ever used. You are wondering why they sell a mouse right next to it.... the touch pad has poor feel no buttons and is most times unresponsive to your touch, no good for a touch pad. if you like to be forced to carry a mouse with you, this is for you - if not RUN as HP is putting this garbage in all of the new models. It's kind of like having a car with really clean windows, no steering wheel and a tiny little engine. Yes I carry a mouse now that is blue tooth (Only one USB-A port on this thng) as I still can not get the right mouse button to work after much practice. No I didn't buy the HP mouse because I want to make sure I got all of the buttons I paid for. I hate this thing so bad.

This laptop is a good buy for the price and will fulfill my every need well into the future. After only one month of new ownership, unit did require an OS clean install to repair a bad boot.

Startup speed and wifi-ac work flawlessly. Running several applications without any issues is common place. Video is clean and smooth and editing is of no issue.

The laptop has a very appealing metallic finish and comes with all advanced features. However, it is slightly slower in booting as compared to other laptop brands which come with SSD.

It is a very nice laptop. The screen is very bright and clear, the keyboard is very nice to use when typing letters and documents. Overall it's a nice laptop.

I've had many expensive laptops and this is my first foray at HP for anyting other than a printer, for which they are great. The software config set-up has been a nightmare. I adapt but this is way beyond adapting. It appears in their attempt to make everything at your fingertips its soooo crowded and convuluted running together that it keep anticipating things that are incorrect and jumbling everything up. You need to go to school to figure out this thing. HP def stick to printers.No clue for laptops. If you are seeking user friendly... this is def NOT it.

So far this laptop has done everything and so much more. I don't have to worry about it being slow or crashing or anything. just wish my internet was better.

Recommended to me by my son-in-law. I purchased the 15" over the 13.3". Not as portable but I'm glad I bought the larger screen. The picture is super clear.

I have not had it long. But so far the only thing that I noticed, is a little lag or hesitation once in a while. Can be annoying. The overall construction and detail is A+++. A bit pricey.

I was little nervous when purchasing this laptop. I use it for mobile office applications most of the time. The start up is amazingly fast. Highly recommend.

This Laptop is def the best out there with the specs available at this price compared to other laptops for the same specs. Def the most beautiful one too.

I purchased this computer for school and it had problems from the time I bought it. I tried working with hp support to fix the issues for weeks and then sent it in for repairs and after getting no info from them on what the status is I call and find out that it will be gone for at least six weeks. So I spent over 1500 dollars on a computer for school that will be gone for repairs for a brand new device for the entire semester. Will never buy from this company again and I recommend anyone considering this computer to buy something else.

Had this for a year, the charging cord doesn't stay in very well have to tape it. Flickers once in a while on some sites. Really wanted the Dell Xps but was just too pricey for me.

Excellent craftsmanship, very nice backlight, snappy response and outstanding display .... what more do you need? A quad core i7 would make it better but then battery life would suffer ...

with the high config and portability, this laptop is a great choice for a college student. I can do all my assignment and also go over some light gaming.

Only get this model if you need thunderbolt 3. It's very good build quality but you are paying a premium for that tbt3. The pen is an added bonus, but not quite at surface pro 4 level.

This is by far the best laptop ever! I had a MacBook before purchasing this...and I can honestly say that I love this one so much more than my MacBook!

I love this laptop and everything about it. The only thing that I wish would be a LARGER MONITOR AREA. For non work uses I think it doesn't matter. Either way, I love it.
