Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the responsive touch screen, strong performance, and lightweight design of the Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop. Positive feedback also frequently mentions the long battery life and fast SSD. However, some users note that the laptop can get warm during use and that the fan can be noisy at times. The relatively high price point is also a recurring concern for some customers.

Great display. Boots super fast. Touch pad is too sensitive. Kept getting thrown out of a word document. Prefer my 10 year old hp pavillion except it is so slow. Microsoft edge is not as useful on this laptop. Hope I learn to like this laptop. Very expensive.

$1500 and no one can fix the mouse touchpad. It freezes constantly. Geek Squad is stumped. We will return it next couple days. We're waiting for HP to return our inquiry before we return. When the laptop is 100%, it's great. Very disappointing.

Loved this computer, but from normal wear and tear, both USB-C ports stopped working. I took computer to several shops and couldn't fix unit. Disappointing

The computer is not as fast as my I5 Toshiba but seems to work pretty good other than the fact HP has issues with the recording array turning back to mute a few seconds after I record. There has been no fix yet...

The specs for a convertible at this price point are good, however the touchpad feels cheaply made and easily jumps when typing or pressing the button. Especially coming from the Elitebook X360 variant of this line.

    Major screen problems

I've had this computer almost two years. About 4-5 months ago, it started flickering and then horizontal and vertical shadows and other artifacts showed up. Sent it in and the flickering was fixed temporarily. Shadows and artifacts still appear and are getting worse. Unfortunately, it is no longer under warranty. I've heard that this is a known problem with this computer. In addition, I had to send it in while still under warranty because the speakers stopped working. Otherwise, everything else on it works fine.

Did thorough research. Seemed great. After daughter had it at college just a few days, it kept freezing up. Haven't figured it out after 2 hrs on phone trying to fix in middle of 1st stressful week as a new college freshman. Unacceptable in my opinion. Having to make a trip home after 1 week to get help to figure it out. And even if we do, I'm leary of trusting it. After $1800 including geek support may just take it back, demand refund and go with Dell xps and not from Best Buy. Very VERY unhappy.

    HP x360 Incorrect Set Up

HP x360 had audio issues right out of the box - no sound. Updated audio driver did not help. Had to install a previous driver. This corrected the problem.

Great PC with a few Problems

This laptop works really well. It is runs fast, quick to reboot, great screen. Under heavy load the battery lasts about 6 hours, more under intermittent load. The backlite keyboard is easy to see in a darkened room. The keys are comfortable to type on. I haven't tried the tablet mode from lack of interest. The hard disk (SSD) is blazing fast. The screen resolution is 2edged - it is great to look at graphics, but it is hard to read some things like emails since they are way too small - each email has to be zoomed to be readable. It can mount a network storage drive ONCE, then on reboot, it cannot find the drive again; so download anything you need before you reboot. Hopefully HP or MS will fix this in a Windows 10 Update. The rotation lock for tablet mode is odd - it is grayed out in some modes but seems to work as needed for tablet. Another oddity is the the internal speakers don't cut out when you plug in earphones. Gadgets don't work on Windows 10, but a new one called Rainmaker works great for weather and other features. The trackpad works well, and its sensitivity can be adjusted to fit your hands. Don't get me wrong, despite the minor problems above, this is a great computer! PS - i'm not "real unhappy,"

    2 Lemons in a Row

I did a lot of research before this purchase and was really excited about replacing my old HP Pavillion. First one gave me the blue screen of death within 3 weeks of very little use and was finally deemed defective by geek squad and replaced. After hours/days of frustration the geek squad deemed the second one to have a defective touchscreen. Extremely disappointed that such a high-end product would provide me with 2 lemons in a row. Waiting to see if Apple comes out with a winner next year. Altogether this HP experience cost me days of work and expense commuting back and forth to BestBuy.

    Great 2 in 1 laptop

So I was looking to buy 2 in 1 laptop since January 2017. I was about to buy 2016 version of this laptop until I saw that 2017 version will be out already in February. It was worth to wait! I would definitely recommend this laptop to people who are looking for a powerful machine and at the same time want to have 2 in 1 laptop which looks absolutely astonishing. Yes, it is heavier than 2016 version however it is not heavy and it is worth it knowing you are getting Nvidia graphic card and bigger battery. Screen looks great. Keyboard feels amazing. Sound system is loud and clear. What I also like about 2017 version is that screen bazel is much thinner making this computer look awesome. It is incredible fast and I love that you can use it as a tablet. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.

Had this notebook for 2 years. Runs very hot, noisy fan, and the battery is swelling to the point where the touchpad is bulging out. USB port stopped recognizing keyboard. Most expensive and shortest lived notebook I have owned.
