I bought this computer for myself to advance my skills with graphic design. The price was right, the features are amazing, and I continue to be dazzled by the beautiful display and touch screen. The pen (which is included) is a wonderful way to start working on developing the skills that I want to develop. I would highly recommend this computer and I did my homework on line and in stores before I landed on this particular computer and I have not regretted my decision. It is easy to use for windows users, but sophisticated enough if you are wanting to expand design skills or you already have them. I am still in love with this computer and I have had many over the years and this is my very favorite.

This is the perfect notebook for a power user or gamer. The SSD hard drive makes booting a dream. The graphics are beautiful and fast, especially with the added NVIDEA card for gaming. It has a Bang Olufsen speaker system for superior sound. I can't recommend this enough for someone who wants power for years to come.

I needed a new computer to run a work related program and this computer has worked out great. The associate was knowledgeable and worked with me to find a laptop that would be best suited to satisfy my needs. The processor is quick, I have plenty of storage space, and it's capable of running the design program common to my industry. I'd say it's the perfect fit.

Great battery life and large screen for the stuff I do - work, personal, some games like minecraft/sc2. No fan issues. Hinge is fine, but slightly on the bouncy side. Has nice balance of older (card reader) and newer technology. (Thunderbolt 3). Try it at store first to be sure first if u want it! Only wish it was a little less expensive. Used a 10% coupon on the store price (which is higher than the online price!) so it still came a little cheaper. I got the hp carepak with accidental damage using an hp coupon that comes soon after buying the spectre

I have bought this computer because I needed to replace an old laptop that had broke on me. This computer has been amazing so far. The battery has been great. The battery life that I generally get is between 10-12 hours with websurfing, streaming, coding and photoshop. Despite in only having a dual-core i7, the computer is still really fast and responsive, just do not expect to be gaming much with it.

Great, fast, & light laptop for perfect for college & travel.

I use this machine for photo editing and document creation. It's amazing at both. It has incredible battery life - even at full brightness I can get 7 hours of fairly heavy use out of this powerhouse. I can have really whatever I want open at any time and I rarely experience a slowdown. 16GB of RAM is a lot. The i7 and the 940mx keep this thing running smooth, but don't expect to game on it. The stylus works great! Pretty much exactly how you would expect it to. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a premium Windows laptop with pen input. Also, it comes with a leather sleeve that has a pen holder. Don't buy a separate one.

The high horsepower laptop performs well as advertised. It handles Adobe Lightroom with ease. What impresses me most is the high quality metal frame and edges. I have confidence that I won't accidentally damage the unit. Would have given five stars except the fan is a little noisy, and a second usb port would have been nice.

If you have an old laptop you'll be amazed by this one, it's very fast thanks to the SSDs on it, can be used as a tablet! It's thin and very light weight with a big screen! Love it!

It is slim, powerful, fast. Editing photos is a breeze. The screen is sharp. Battery life is good enough. But most of all, I can carry it around because it looks so beautiful!

Yes, my preference is a MacBook Pro. However, if you are more comfortable with a windows machine, this is a great one. Weight is comfortable. Does not feel flimsy. Huge screen when in tablet mode. This is for my college kid. Has plenty of horsepower for engineering. Has plenty of horsepower for entertainment. External drives are cheap nowadays (like a blu-ray drive) so no optical drive is not a big burden. You'll need a dongle for more traditional USB ports for now (not that many devices are USB-C yet). ONLY issue to-date, windows 10. Already had to deal with a black-screen issue upon boot-up but that is a Win10 issue.

I use my laptop constantly for generating technical drawings and designs which require multiple windows for information transfer and verification. The compact size and high resolution allow me to carry the laptop everywhere and work effectively. And it looks awesome to boot!

After reading reviews of this laptop, I decided to purchase one and have been mostly satisfied with my choice. The keyboard is more robust than my previous HP laptop, it feels more sturdy. The display is pretty amazing, may try stepping the resolution down a notch or two just to see what the difference would be. I had read reviews of people who were having issues with this laptop locking up periodically. I began to notice my was locking up or freezing for a short time, usually 30 seconds or so. This was after I applied the bios upgrade HP was telling me was available for it. After a week of these freezes, I returned it to Best Buy and got another one as I really like this laptop. This time I have not applied the bios upgrade and I am not seeing any freezing. I am going to tell HP about my experience to see if they are getting any similiar responses from other laptop owners. My rating of 5 stars has to do with the overall performance, style and looks of this laptop. I don't feel it would be right to ding it for what could possibly be something corrected with a future bios upgrade. I would recommend this laptop to anyone. Go to a store and play around with it for 15 or 20 minutes like I did. That is what ultimately convinced me to purchase it.

I wanted a machine that was light, could run for hours without overheating, and had enough power for small photogrammetry projects. So far, I've been very pleased!

HP Spectre x360 is great laptop. I love it. screen resolution is super. Light weight. Good battery life. After I bought it my few friends also bought this laptop.

I have had mine for about a mouth now and I have been happy with my purchase the whole time. The screen is very bright with great contrast it is great for watching Netflix especially coupled with the great battery life (One time i measured it and got Nine hours watching Roadkill at 50 percent Brightness and keyboard backlight turned off) so if you are a binge watching kind of person you can leave the cord behind, but i should add although the piano black plastic on the charging block looks cool at first it gets scratched really fast so i would recommend keeping the plastic cover on when you get it. The laptops build is really good, at first I was worried about the aluminum getting scratched but so far the only scratches were from me missing the lightning / charging port while trying to plug it in in the dark. I never payed attention to exactly how long it took to charge but it has a 90 Watt Hour charger so it was really fast. The speakers are loud and clear, It comes with Bang & Olufsen speakers and audio controls so you can mess around with bass, treble and dialog clarity, I just left mine on music mode but you can change yours to fit your liking. I like the pen im not a painter but i would recommend not using 3D paint if you plan too, the lag was horrible but it was fast in every other app I tried. Every thing about this laptop was fast, but most of all the boot time, It was almost as fast as it wakes up from sleep. When i got mine the GTX 940mx was turned off in the Nvidia control panel so if you are getting really bad frame rates in games i would make sure it is enabled. The 940mx is a plenty fast card for anything other than heavy games but it CAN NOT do 4k unless everything is set to low. But over all i have been very happy with the whole laptop and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested.

Love this PC. The Spectre multitasks with ease, has a beautiful screen for photo and video, and performs like a dream. And the form factor is beautiful, to boot!
