I had to return this model twice due to defective hardware (the speakers and then the display). I really wanted this computer to work based on the expert reviews. I gave it one more try and the third time was a charm. I am very happy with this laptop and haven’t had any issues for going on a year and a half.

Overall that is one of best option you can buy for money, especially if you bought it for black friday price. Unfortunately it was clear noise coming from somewhere, many folks identified it as Coil whine. Sorry HP and BB, that need to be fixed, may be next generation....

Latest generation processor and excellent design. It has face recognition which I like it a lot, instead of key in. One bad thing is that the Bluetooth mouse has difficulties to sync with the computer. Once it synced up, everything works fine. Best of all I got it on sales price on Black Friday deals, $400.00 off.

I used all Mac products. I bought this for running some 3D programs at home so that I don’t have to go to school lab all the time. It does the jobs but not as fast. It’s a bit noisy when file saving and rendering (compare to all my Mac). Overall, I like it and it worths the money spend (I bought it on sale with $400 discount).

It is not good as it looks. The CPU power is limited at 15W, and Intel XTU doesn't help. The keyboard layout is weird for me. I always mistouch somekey when I want to press "backspace" etc. The display is fair, it has good color, bright enough. But comparing w/ dell XPS 13 9370, the color is not that accurate. Finally, IT BROKES AFTER 3 MOUNTH I BOUGHT IT!!!. It reboots automatically after shutting it down 3 secs, which is not related to any OS, driver issue. I contacted w/ HP support and they give me tons of solutions, including configuring OS settings, reinstalling OS, reinstalling drivers, updating ME firmware, flashing bios, etc. All of these do not help at all. Then, the agent "detected" it is caused by hardware failiure and asked me to send it back hp. The repairing is still on process. That's my story. My advice is don't by anything manufactured by hp.

Easy to use and set up for a second user. Use a mobile hotspot and the family can check email, watch movies or whatever they want to do online. Excellent display for watching digital movies - download a few from iTunes or your provider of choice and you are all set. Good battery life on this one

The laptop works fine. However, one of the hinges is not flush with the body and is not well installed. Also, there is a whine in the speakers at high volume levels.

I never intended on spending this much for my personal computer, I am so glad that Javier at Best Buy took his time to show me the advantages of this HP SPECTRE, our Daughter has always had the newest and greatest apple, and she is very impressed with this HP . This is a awesome Laptop .

This laptop is fast, it boots up in under 30 seconds for me. The 4K screen is sharp and the touchscreen is very responsive. It does not come with an active pen. There’s no lag on the mousepad and the lights on the keyboard can be turned off, the fan rarely turns on, Highly recommended!

For artwork I think it has extreme advantages because it is able to utilize the bamboo pen. I personally did not have any problems finding it comfortable while drawing. For gaming it is good for casual gameplay. The only negative I can find would be that it heats up very quickly.

Purchased the printer several days ago and was thrilled to see how easy it was to set it up. And the printing is even easier. The quality seems good as well. Printing cartridges seem reasonably priced so all in all, I think I will be pleased with my purchase.

I had to return my first two, but third time’s a charm. I really wanted this computer to work for me because of the great specs, beautiful design, and a killer deal. I was about ready to give up after returning the first two, but I got a third one and it has given me no issues. Yah!

I bought this primarily for photo editing, it's great for that with the high definition images, the flip screen and ability to use the windows ink pen - drawing on images, or choosing sections to edit. It's quick to start up and has a great battery life too.

I bought this pc in addition to my Mac. I have to say, this pc is fast! I particularly like how fast it starts up The graphics are great. My only complaint to this computer would be the touchpad. It Pinter jumps around quite a bit and does not respond as well as the Mac.

Laptop looks good, 16GB RAM performance is outstanding. But Battery life is very horrible. According to the Ad, it says Battery life as 13 hours, but after a full charge with in 2 hours battery percentage reduced to 40%. Also in the Ad(photos) they have specified Stylus Pen, and also in the product specifications it says "Built for Windows Ink Bring your ideas to life with the power of a digital pen and your imagination." but there was no Stylus pen included in the package. When i tried to explain this to the customer care or the service associate in best buy store, they were not at all understanding the problem.

I really like this laptop. It is a great size for traveling, screen is large enough to easily see everything but not too large to get in the way or be hard to access on a plane. I like the different features it comes with and the easy to use touch pad.

I was expecting it to be much better that other laptops.

Unpacking it doesnt come with the pen but the offer with it plus security and office for $99 was great. Only 4 stars because sometimes the facial recognition wont work. Easy set up and start. Love it so far.

This laptop has some interesting features, including facial recognition used to open it up. At first it was a bit slow, but as I used it it became quite fast at recognizing my face and opening quickly. Screen size is great, and there is good resolution.
