I have purchased a number of HP Spectres and the users have generally been happy with the appearance, the build, and the quality of the keyboard. The biggest issue is the lack of ports. It only has USB C and USB A ports. For a machine this size, they could have put in an HDMI (Hint: Lenovo Thinkpads have HDMI). Overall a good solid machine. Be careful carrying it around and one user cracked the screen when squeezing it too hard carrying it to a meeting. Also, this particular machine I had to return because I purchased a Windows Pro upgrade and killed the machine while following the upgrade instructions. If you need to upgrade to Pro, do it directly from the Windows site.

I love everything about this laptop, It is lightweight, very pretty and ease of use is perfect for me. I use it to edit photos and the clarity of the pics are very nice.

When you buy a laptop, keep in mind exactly what you will be using your laptop for, whether you intend to Buy..see this specs and buy this HP specter4k laptop ..great deal.

Overall a very fast laptop. I've had it for well over a year and seems to hold up. I HATE the trackpad/touchpad - WAY to sensitive.

It's big. It's not light. But it's powerful with a beautiful screen and includes the "bamboo" stylus. It's my first touch screen laptop and I love it. It also looks great!

I like almost everything about this HP-Spectre x360. The larger screen viewing size, the lighted keyboard, the helpful instructions for setting up the system, all are very good. The only things I would have liked is more USB ports on the sides of the computer. I had to purchase an independent port to provide what I like as well as a stand-alone CD drive. That isn't uncommon with today's move towards downloading everything but I need this drive to convert older media and to view pictures stored on CD's which was the former method of saving them. I think the stand alone drive as well as a USB cord should be offered with the system for a few years until everyone catches up with the latest technology.

Great laptop fast with a beautiful screen. Thin easy to use and powerful. The best part is I purchased during the holidays on sale for $1,100 which is $500 off MSRP!

Got it for college note taking and programming. Best Crisp display and a mini powerhouse to get basic college student app running. Wouldn't recommend for gaming.

I've had this machine for about two weeks now. It arrived well packaged and opening the HP packaging made me think of a giant box of chocolates. Simply gorgeous. First impression of the appearance of the machine itself was it's subtle beauty. A soft, matte charcoal grey with glinting highlights on all of the beveled edges. Stunning yet quietly reflective in appearance. It came with a power adapter, a stylus, a padded sleeve and PRE-LOADED with windows 10 Professional. There was no upgrade serial number to be dealt with, it was ready to go. I appreciated that.

Excellent laptop - great value for the money! Easy to set up, so many features - still discovering new ones every day.. Runs great and so fast as advertised!

Love this computer, have had no issues with it since we purchased it, the touchscreen is such an added bonus and helps me work seamlessly on it.

I like that it is fast, I also like the pen but if your hand is touching the screen the comouter will have trouble writing what I am doing with the pen.

This computer is pretty fast and the color display is amazing. I love the features and it's very stylish. The only thing is that I have Photoshop and Lightroom and it can lag sometimes.

Have always used an ASUS. This was a pleasant surprise and was a recommendation from your salesperson. Added bonus was touch pen...still haven't tried that yet

If you care about aesthetics as much as you do performance and overall quality, this is the laptop for you. The cost says it all. Happy with my purchase.

The SSD on this thing is blazing fast. Instant boot up and dive into whatever you need to do. The 4K looks great as well. Best computer I have owned.

This is only a fair laptop because of the cost. Not a good purchase. It only has one USB and a modest video card. Spend your money elsewhere

This laptop rocks! After reading the bad reviews, and then the top reviews, I came to the conclusion that most of the gripes could have been alleviated by simply updating the firmware/bios. I received mine for Christmas 2019 and immediately updated the bios and firmware. It has worked flawlessly since. I bought a UPTab Thunderbolt compatible hub from Am’zon to expand the USB shortage. That’s all I need. Take the time to read the reviews of the products you want to buy, to determine if you can deal with the shortcomings when you you get it.
