Total lemon

I am, however, disappointed with the quality of this machine. At the moment, the laptop recently developed a problem where it emits an ear-splitting alarm for tens of seconds at a time, typically on startup or when placed under load. I suspect this is a temperature alarm, however, monitoring software shows me that temperatures aren't exceeding 65 degrees in the CPU. Also, the BIOS on this machine does not include options to disable alarms. Previously, I've had recurring issues with the audio drivers failing and requiring reinstallation, and with a physical hardware issue in the 1/8th inch headphone port where something internal seems to be broken and rattling around. Real lemon, this one. I'm bummed that I held on through the audio driver and headphone port issues, because the "ear splitting shriek" problem began occurring just a week past my warranty window (which was 11/9/2020).
