My old computer was five years old and started having issues. So after researching I bought this HP. I am very disappointed with the speed of the computer. I use a cad program to do some drawings and the renderings overload the computer and it takes forever to load.

So far it has been a good experience using this laptop.

The design and specs of this laptop made me have really high expectations of this laptop. However, it didn't live up to those expectations. It crashed four times in the first week - the final one required a complete reset. And it wasn't giving consistent errors in the error log - they were all random. For the price of this laptop, I really expected much better. It got returned.

Any time I tried watching videos full screen (youtube, netflix, etc.) the fan would run full speed which is loud. Laptop would randomly hard reboot without a warning.

This is my 4th HP laptop and by far the most disappointing one (especially considering it was also the most expensive one). It does not handle Adobe products, blue screens all the time, the power button is useless. If it sleeps, it takes forever to make it come back on. You pretty much have to force it to shut down to restart it and get back to work. This thing has all the right qualities. I think the graphics card just sucks. Anyway, there are a lot of other models out there now so I'd just stay away from this one.

loads quick and great picture, keeps losing wireless internet connection for some reason while rest of products in home are still working. Seems like a glitch but not my job to figure out HPs shortcomings. May have to return it.

Speakers are tinny and not nitpicking, it can be heard in system sounds and alerts. Webcam is subpar. Pixelated and blurry when attempting to capture video from it. There are better options for the same price.

Awful. Never worked, always overheated, couldn't hold a charge, sounded like a jet engine, grade a piece of ****. Spent a year in geek squad over 5 different times I had to bring it in only to have nothing fixed. Thankfully they had their policy and recognized the warranty and offered me to take the money I spent on it to put it towards a different laptop.

I got it thinking all I wanted was an HP but after watching my sister sync her phone with her apple products change my mind so I returned it next day. I got me Apple laptop instead

I bought this laptop solely so I can edit videos & photos in adobe premier, after effects, photoshop, lightroom etc. Also, for the ocasional Sims gaming in Origin. I hadn't needed to use the adobe applications or played any games until maybe a month or two months after I bought the laptop. When I finally started using the apps and gaming, the fan would start going crazy, it would be so loud. Then after a while it would shut down and go to that crazy blue screen. EVERY TIME, I mean every darn time I use any heavy application like adobe or Origin for gaming, the fan starts going crazy and then it's like a ticking time bomb, for the computer to shut off and go to that blue screen and restart. The fan even starts when I'm just occasionally browsing as well. Don't waste your time, don't buy this computer. It talks about having all these awesome specs but it works worse than my old HP 2014 i5 8GB laptop. At least that one never shut off while I was using all these apps.
