I was really liking the laptop at first, but than the fans stopped working right after I played some games, like sea of thieves, fortnite and Witcher 3. The games ran pretty poorly too.

This is an update on the laptop. I was charging the battery the other day and the charger plug in started smoking and flames were coming out of the laptop. Fortunately I was right there and noticed it. I quickly unplugged it from the computer but dropped the cord and it burned a hole in my carpet. I'm afraid to even try it with a new charger. Of course it's not under warranty anymore. It was an expensive laptop to only last 18 months.

Don’t waste your time with this. Legit completely died after about 30 days on the dot. Covered under warranty with HP yet they don’t have the parts so they’re planning on switching it out with a refurbished. 5-7 day repair turning into about 30 days.

My previous laptop was HP, and so is my printer. I and my brother had been using HP laptops, that was why I chose HP again. When I first brought it home, I was very excited, but it was malfunctioned: one of the speakers didn't work, so I had to returned it. The cashier helping me with the return added another disappointment because of her attitude (she acted like I made the laptop malfunctioned). I switched to Dell.

I'm disappointed because in less than 1 year it crashed.I had to send it for software repair

I've used this laptop for about 4 years now as I got it toward the beginning of the pandemic. It is truly wonderful with lots of storage space, ram and processing power, and more. After working so hard for 4 years, the battery does drain a lot faster than the beginning but I've used it to run programs like adobe, CAD, rhino, and more for extended periods of time, and that can be a real sucker punch. As for regular use, it is great. The updated Microsoft 365 products are awesome, the graphics are beautiful, watching videos is easy, and using it as a tablet is a really great perk. Definitely worth the money.

This computer had everything I was looking for in a PC, but from the moment I opened the box till now I have had issues with it.

Works good for 6 months and then just crashes over and over. Not worth the money.

I bought this laptop on sale for $1,099 and it's great value. I previously used a Spectre x350 15t from a couple of years ago. This version has been completely redesigned since then. Pros: - Premium look and feel (people know it's a quality laptop) - Fantastic looking, quality 4K screen (no backlight unevenness) - Reasonably fast (10th gen quad core Intel Core i7) - Very quiet (quieter than my Spectre x360 15t from 2 years ago) - Long battery life (10 hours+ possible with light use even with 4K) - Can be charged using regular adapter or using USB C ports - 2 USB C ports (including one with Thunderbolt 3) - Trackpad works well under Windows and Linux - BIOS has battery lifespan preservation options (100%, 80%, 50%) - Upgradeable RAM, SSD and WiFi (I've upgraded RAM and SSD) - Works under Linux Cons: - Numeric keypad (just makes the part of the keyboard people actually use off-center and harder to find by feel) - New angular design (older design was more elegant) - Trackpad could be bigger - All USB ports in one spot on one side Not sure: - I don't play games so I'm not sure about that - Tablet mode (who would use a 15", 4+ pound laptop in tablet mode?)

The sound output is very bad due to a the audio outlet bad connection after a few months of use.

I love everything about this computer! It’s beautiful! Practical and everything I need in a computer!

The laptop stopped charging. Made sure everything was updated and even called HP support.

Great laptop, very fast, big screen! Gaming was doable but it got very hot at times! Only downsides are the trackpad not being clickable towards the upper end of it, and the battery life being so short when not plugged in.

I purchased this laptop in 2019. Still it works pretty well. I used this laptop for several computational chemistry softwares. I like it very much

Great computer for processing graphics and video as a graphic designer. After a few years still looks new and has held up great.
