I don't know where to begin, but this laptop already surpasses any other laptop I've ever owned or played with!!! I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase eventhough it took me 2 weeks to make up my mind! LOL. TWO THUMBS UP!!!!

Ive had this laptop for three years and its been my favorite HP laptop so far!! It has never given me any issues. I use it for school and work and it’s always been fast and reliable

If you are looking for a laptop that does everything well, this is the one! The keyboard, display, and solid state memory all perform excellently. The machine boots in about 10 seconds. There is plenty of CPU speed for all of my applications. Display resolution (4K) is outstanding. I highly recommend this laptop. A couple of things to note: The laptop comes with one USB-A port and two USB-C ports. I bought a couple of USB-C to USB-A converters. These are the 3 inch cable types. Two solid types won't fit side-by-side in the computer as the two USB-C ports are too close to each other. The other thing is the battery life. My experience has been the battery lasts 3-5 hours depending on what I am doing.

So satisfying. I got this 4 years ago and I used it 24/7 and still running strong. Highly recommend it!!!

Has been an amazing laptop still going strong bought in 2020

I got this laptop for about $1k on this black Friday deal. Pros: - It's really fast thanks to intel Optane. - Wifi connection is about perfect. - Screen is good on still images. - pen sensitivity is better than surface pro 3. Cons: - Screen response time is extremely high to the point i thought there was something wrong with the panel and then i noticed Linus tech tips said the same and i realized it's the terrible built quality. Texts go blurry to the point that it'd give you headache if you scroll a lot. refresh rate is set @ 60fps but doing the ufotest shows you otherwise cause you'll see blurry UFO @60 fps. - Windows Hello infrared lights will give you seizures during unlock. - Front camera quality is bad for a 2019 $1000 laptop. - This laptop is huge for 15.6" screen tablet mode.

If you are a photographer looking for laptop to edit photos this is the way to go. Pictures upload fast, colors on screen are beautiful. What you see on your screen will match what you see on your phone... I can have lightroom or photoshop open while listening to music and youtube and at the same time uploading photos to my cloud with no problem... I still forget I can use the pen to retouch photos which is a very nice tool to have....

Great laptop, the sticky pads on the bottom constantly come off and need replaced.

This laptop is pretty solid. I bought it for use at school (college student), and barely after a year of owning it it has stopped charging. Luckily, class just ended. I have done research on it and the this version of the laptop has been having faulty motherboards for YEARS!!! They all died barely out of warranty too, so you have to PAY A TON OF MONEY to get it repaired. I have to pay $500 to fix a computer that is barely over a year old and the dang thing cost $1400???? These companies get desperate to get any money out of you. Don’t be like me. Do your research about a computer before you buy it. Check to see what problems the computer has once it’s out of warranty and how soon. All the things I have found about this laptop’s motherboard dying have all been within MONTHS of the warranty expiring!

This computer blows though the battery. I bought this recommended by a sales rep for photography and this battery didn’t even last 2 years. I lightly used it so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be able to replace the battery right ? In what appears to be a simple battery swap is not. The back piece to my model will not actually come apart in fact it’s aluminum and is destroyed. Not to mention the screws were stripped Already attached to the battery. I’m now stuck with a gorgeous laptop I took good care of and it’s just ruined over what should be a easy battery swap. Geek squad offered to take it in for 2 weeks for over $140 That’s ridiculous! I spent 2 years making payments on this laptop and I have no solution at this point for what is to come. Thanks Best Buy and HP

The laptop is BEAUTIFUL, don't get me wrong before I start this. I got the laptop in the mail, literally an hour ago. I opened it and immediately knew something was wrong (I'm a cyber security major). The mouse pad wasn't working, neither were the letter keys, the touchscreen, and it wasn't connecting to the internet. I called HP support after trying to troubleshoot some of the problems myself, but there was no fix. It's a gorgeous laptop, and when it works I'm sure its fine, but I didn't get to experience that. This is my first time with an HP (I normally use ASUS) but I wanted this laptop. So I'm giving it a 1 star because it was defective out of box AND it was already late shipping.

Bought this about 6 months ago from Best Buy. Have had to spend countless hours trying to get it to work reliably. Computer constantly crashes with blue screen. HP support is horrible. This is my second HP Spectre. The first had to go back as well. Think twice.
