Worth every dollar
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best laptop I have ever purchased. I'm still learning things that it can do. I love that I can connect my phone to, it has great storage, clear screen, tons of app. options in the Microsoft store, fast charge, battery last a while (except when using video chat or other platforms like teams or zoom), very study/durable. The only con that I have notice over these 2 yrs is that the video camera sucks. The quality of the camera when recording is trash but the camera for live chats are excellent. It is certainly worth every dollar that I paid.

Fantastic
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop primarily for the hype, but when I got it, it runs like a dream! It boots up super fast and runs smooth like my Mac. It’s a joy to sit down and write lines of code on this thing because of how dependable it is. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a top notch computer that doesn’t hurt your wallet too badly.

Best laptop I've ever used
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is amazing! I love using it every day and find myself trying to come up with excuses to use it quite frequently. Keyboard is amazing, touch screen is super useful and it comes with a good pen to sue for screen writing. HP also has amazing customer support in my experience. This laptop is very premium and has been a joy to use!

Love this purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a limited number of options when it came to choosing a laptop to be used for my architecture major. I did find this on sale. I love all the features. The only downfall that I have so far is the battery goes low very quickly. It only lasts a couple hours. Other than that, It has been great even for virtual learning in college

top of the line
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this HP, best of everything. It sold out everywhere and was $2400 at first a year ago or something, so I waited for it to drop to $1800 and it actually got a better AMOLED screen and better graphic card. I am just a normal user, and the comments that it could get hot are lost on me... I didn't buy it because my old laptop overheated and shutdown all the time even with fans on it... I was paranoid of overheating, but this one is cool and just fine, so don't worry about heat unless you are a heavy user. I doubt they would lie about it. But I went to BB stores for months to feel the display models, just fine, as is mine! LOVE it! Boots and working in 1 minute, fingerprint login is cool, true black 4K screen is amazing, and 10% back in coupons ($250!) if you use the BB credit card. It was sold out, and so when it got affordable and improved specs, so I pounced. LOVE it.

Best computer I have ever owned,
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a Ph.D. Student at University of Minnesota Duluth. I purchased my new Hp hoping that it would have the computing capabilities to perform computational modeling for pharmaceutical drug design. The computer is so fast and reliable that I completed my studies three times faster than the super nice Macs and Mac books in our lab. Adding in the amazing sound system, 4K screen, the tablet mode, and the pen cake with blew my expectations out of the water. Although I use it for science I am still able to have fun with watching movies, sending emails, etc. it is the best purchase I’ve made in years and I recommend it to anyone.

Great display, plenty of power, and great machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it's a great laptop. There are a few small quirks, like the power button location (leftside, back of laptop where display meets base), but overall it's terrific. Display is bright, vivid, and clear and it has enough storage and power to handle most business tasks with ease.

Very good product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good laptop. The best screen I’ve ever seen, although I wonder if burn in will be an issue since it’s OLED. The specs are top notch, and less expensive than Dell XPS. One thing I hate is the barrel plug that HP uses to charge their laptops. It’s a cheap inelegant solution to charging this premium product.

Hot ...
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hp ... I have always purchased. This model runs HOT. There doesn't seem to be an adequate fan to keep the laptop cool. Other than that ... it has all I am used to and more that I am still discovering.

HP Spectre x360 Review - concern for hot battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Spectres seem to have good performance so far. However, the batteries on these Spectres seem to get very hot when they are left on (but closed and in sleep mode) overnight (and they are left that way overnight in well ventilated areas on hard surfaces). That extreme heat does not seem like it will be good long term (or possibly even short term). We do like the new placement of the on/off button in the left-hand corner as inadvertently pushing it does not seem to be a problem any longer. They seem to have a little trouble accessing photos and videos quickly, but I am not sure if that just generally has to do with the large number of files it must access.

Great Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this product and the tech support comes with it. It is a hard shell. So it won't break. I Love the backlit that helps you type in the dark. It's a little heavy to use as a tablet but the 15" fit in all my laptop bags, unlike the 17-inch computer I had before. It also has a touchscreen function. Wish I love.

Complete crap
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this laptop for my daughter who is starting college and it is only the second week of school and the screen went black. She literally has used it twice. This is unacceptable for such an expensive laptop and the customer service we received at Best Buy was disgusting. Even after purchasing the extended three-year accidental protection through geek squad we were told that it would have to be mailed out and would take minimum of 3 to 4 weeks to get back and in the meantime we just have no laptop to use. Just to clarify this laptop has never been dropped or anything spilled on it and we have had a protective cover since the day it was purchased. This is clearly a manufacturer defect and customer service Should be far better than having to wait a month to get a laptop back that is less than a month old. Also, my daughter noted that the very first use it got extremely hot very quickly. Are they pining off refurbished laptops as new and selling them for $2000?

Unbelievable screen, with short battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OLED screen on this laptop is unreal, and was the deciding factor in my purchase. It does run hot and the battery life is abysmal (due to that beautiful screen). Expect the discrete GPU to handle some light gaming but nothing really heavy. Overall I'm pleased with this as a replacement for my aging Macbook.

Great Laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for our daughter going to college and she needed a higher end laptop for her classes. So far she is very happy with it. Screen is great, Processor is FAST, but it does run HOT. Fan is running right at startup and blows hot air out of the fancy side vents. It will keep you warm on a chilly night.

HOT!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to love this laptop but I can’t. It’s fast and has a great screen display. This is my second one after I noticed that the first one was warped on the bottom. The main issue is that it runs constantly and is hot!!!! I cannot have it on my lap at all and at the moment I can’t even touch the keys. Right now it just shut down in the middle of working on it. Ugh. Too much money for it to not work properly.

It has potential...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second replacement for this product. It was a purchase for my daughter going to college and had everything she would need. Enough RAM, nice processor, and plenty of SSD storage. Imagine how disappointed we were when the first one bricked after 3 weeks of ownership. Giving the HP another shot to see if it was just a lemon. If this one works better than the first one, I'll update this review. I do notice that it does tend to run a little hot and the fan is more noticeable than previous Spectre's that I have owned.

Amazing graphics with design software
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer works perfectly for running our design software. The only issue I have is the fingerprint reader is having a hard time reading my fingerprint, it worked for the first few days and stopped reading my fingerprint. Other than that the computer has amazing graphics and works perfectly!

Nice convertible!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast, agile, clean lines. The computer functions are as to access and it is easy to use. Very versatile and efficient and I like that it comes with its own stylus rather than having to purchase one separately. I am not a fan of the gold accents but that isn't a deal breaker for most.

Great design, good performance, Exquisite screen!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works. Fast, reliable, beautiful, feels sturdy (no cheap plastic groans). Wish they had the higher end graphics card option in this model to justify the higher price tag, but it at least this one is still good enough for some amateur A/V editing.
