Nice 2-in-1 laptop/tablet option. It has met all my needs with no functionality issues. 4K screen is amazing when watching 4K movies and videos. Only complaint is it gets really hot on the bottom. I use the carrying case that comes with it as a “hot pad” when I set the laptop on my lap.

I have the 13" HP Spectre x360 for travel, but the screen and keyboard are very small for daily home use and I found myself gravitating back to my desktop... with is a powerful CAD workstation from 2014... this new 15" HP Spectre x360 is actually much faster than the workstation! Although it does get hot enough to cook eggs on, I don't care. It is really fast. The camera qualty is good, but the monitor is amazing and has deep black levels worthy of the best high end 4k HDTVs. According to the service manual ( I read! ok!) The RAM is soldered to the mobo, so if you need more than 16gb, your out of luck. It does have a micro SD slot, so you could add some accelerated storage there. The pen is magnetic so you can rest your hand on the screen in pen mode and not cause a lot of problems. Although the screen ink mode draws with your fingers just fine too. This thing feels well built and structurally sound. No twistyness on the hinges like so many laptops that came before. Overall very impressive.

It's an okay laptop. It had the numerical keypad and touchscreen with 1TB drive, so it fit my basic needs. The first one I bought recommended a bios update during setup - the system crashed. I bought another one. Now, a year later, I'm getting messsages that the optane is degrading and should be disabled (really? after 1 year). I also had a bios update (HP maintenance assistant). Did that - now now wifi, bluetooth and optane error still there. Off for a warranty fix.

This laptop fit my needs almost perfectly. I wanted a PC that would (1) work well for photo editing and music creation, (2) allow some light gaming with my son, and (3) be small/light enough for trips (for a 15"; 13" is too small for my aging eyes). The OLED display is fantastic and a joy to use. The graphics card is enough for me to game at 1080p on whatever games my son is playing (Destiny 2, Fortnite, etc.), even if I can't peg the settings to high everytime. It's plenty fast for the work I do and light enough. I wouldn't suggest using tablet mode unless it's propped or on a desk (it's a little heavy for that), but otherwise it's great.

Everything about this laptop is great except that it tends to heat up a little after a bit of use. I fixed most of this issue by simply tuning the performance to conserve more battery life

I gave it 5 stars but the display gets 4. the screen developed cracks by no fault of mine............25 days after I purchased it. When googling this phenomenon, I found that this happened to MANY people. Cracks appearing in the LCD display rendering it useless. Apparently, HP does not consider the monitor hardware, even though clearly by definition it is "any physical component of the laptop". (I mean it's not like I can "uninstall" my screen?) There are forums concerning this issue and HP only replaced some for free and were going to charge others a rediculous amount. I didn't want to deal with the nonsense so I went through best buy. EXCELLENT service. I always purchase Accidental Damage and replacement protection when I make a computer purchase and I would suggest the same. I was able to swap out my laptop for a new one and I couldn't be happier. This is a great computer and I have no complaints other than the screen!

Best laptop i ever have grafics is good sound is also great the only negative in this laptop is getting hot wen you use it for a long time and its kind of expensive too but it a great laptop the design is cool

As someone who has used a dell xps 15 and an alienware 17, this laptop keeps pace with the xps, providing similar processing power and superior graphics. The alienware punches higher due to much larger cooling and chasis. However, this laptop was supposed to be for school and not gaming so i wasn't expecting siperb gaming performance and was just hoping for casual gaming in between classes. The one conplaint i have comes back to the heat, this laptop can get fairly warm even under light loads (chrome, word, PowerPoint, etc)

I am greatly disapointed, This is not my first HP, but it is the worst Laptop i ever had. It over heats bad, even if left on sleep mode. When i lift the tide it is extremely hot. It is not because i am in the middle of running intense programs. When i laid a digital thermometor on it, it over heated it causing it to shut off. I have only had it 2 months. (Of course, past return) Online solutions did nothing, Support did help alot, times where the fan is working fine. When i am reading a webpage it will jump to a lower part of an artical on its own. It is slow to open documents at times. Yes, it looks sharp and has all the bells and whistles. But the over heating will only cause internal damage eventually

A great purchase. I needed an upgrade and this computer is a definite upgrade. The ease of use is so nice. Love that it’s a touch screen. I love to draw and it’s great for it. Nice vivid color all the specs needed. And the storage a big bonus. Would definitely recommend.

I like the versatility that the touch screen add. The extended keyboard was a feature that attracted me to this computer. The battery does not last very long.

It's nice juts for regular laptop to do simple staff, but it's not enough power for adobe premier and another powerful programs and for some reason it's getting very hot.

The screen is super crisp! I've been binge watching youtube videos all day! The battery lasts for hours! It gets a little warm when charging below 50% but when I set it ontop of the leather case it came with, I can set it on my lap and not even feel it. I love this laptop!

I bought this laptop in 2020 for my personal use and mainly to attend non-work related zoom meetings. We are not allowed to install software on my work laptop so the only way for me to attend zoom meetings was via my phone which is not very convenient. The laptop is a great buy and has been very useful for the intended purpose for which it was bought and more. The camera unlocking feature is very useful as I don't have to worry about typing my password. All I have to do is sit in front of the computer and it will let me in. I haven't had any issues with it so far and it's working pretty well. I would have liked the monitor size to be a bit larger but this is not too bad either. The picture and graphics are good so are the audio and speakers. I haven't used it for very long and mainly use it for personal work so my usage of it is a bit limited but still worth the buy.

Bought as graduation gift. She loved it. Very quick response and beautiful display. Only issue was the stylus that came with it wouldnt charge. Best buy does not cover this as its an accessory. Had to reach out to HP for a replacement.

I bought this to replace an Asus and was not disappointed. It is very fast and the picture is amazing. I looked at the smaller version but decided to go for the 15 inch to gain the numeric keypad and larger screen. It is AMOLED which mean excellent true black levels.

I use the this laptop mostly for productivity and CAD but it is also capable of light gaming. I normally need to mark up large paper drawing plans using multiple colored pencils as part of my workflow. I love that I'm able to flip the screen around and "hand draw" onto PDF versions of the paper drawings using the included pen instead. This has saved me allot of time while designing especially with the work from home situation since the Covid outbreak. The Spectre is also powerful enough to do CAD work. The thunderbolt capable ports have been great as I'm able to use one cable for charging, ethernet and added monitor simultaneously. The build quality of the Spectre is exceptional and the design aesthetic is very high end. This may be the prettiest laptop I've ever owned. I normally buy Dell products. This is the first HP laptop I've used and I'm very pleased with this purchase so far.

Originally purchased the 512GB version (15-EB0043DX), which we really liked, for my son for college. Then a week later this one went on sale for the same price. So returned the 512GB purchased this one with better specs. Great value at the sale price. Liked it so much, I purchased a second one for myself. The laptop itself looks like a piece of art. Nice solid feel. Great keyboard. Beautiful screen, boots in seconds, camera for Windows Hello. So far no heat, fan or throttle issues. Only time the fan really fires up is when I block the air vents by placing the laptop on a soft surface. Move it to the clear the vents and it cools quickly and the fans turn off. So far I have to say, I love it!

Great machine for running photoshop or light room, super fast and responsive. Sleek design, with a vibrant screen. Comes with stylus that stopped working after a week so I have to return it to BB, suggest upgrading to a bamboo stylus or something of the like.

Love the quality of the videos. Downloads movies pretty quickly. Don't like that it gets hot when plugged in or while in use. Overall love it.
