Great computer, all I wanted is in there plus luxurious. Love it

So far, I am pleased with the quality and ease of use.

I am still paying off a computer that doesn’t work. They will fix it, but they cannot give me a time frame to fix. I work from home. I am so upset, I have to buy a new computer just to work. I would love to shove this thing where the sun doesn’t shine! AWFUL ALL THE WAY AROUND!!!! Best Buy and HP are AWFUL! Going back to Microsoft. I may pay more, but SO worth it.

I had to return it. The unit got very very hot. I could not even put it on my lap. Hope HP can find a solution for this problem.

Specs of this laptop are rather nice but after 3 months we experience a manufacturer defect which limits the use of the USB-c ports. We used to use a USB-c dock to allow for a dual screen at the office, now the USB-c is only good for other peripheral and does not allow for this screen expansion. Tried multiple brands, and opened up an HP case and they said it’s a known issue. Geek Squad said although you purchased a warranty, we can’t guarantee they will fix this issue and may just give it back to you as is, after 4-6 weeks. Waste of money... I told him since it has accidental damage protection, might as well accidentally drop it and get a replacement or gift card when they say it’s not fixable. Also this laptop even when hibernating makes noises similar to a mechanical HD, constant noise. Do yourself a favor and get another brand.

The first one I got came with a broken speaker. I went through the hastle of getting another one (I wish i just chose a different laptop after returning it). This one lasted about 7 months and now wont turn on. No signs of life whatsoever. On top of that, the rubber strips on the bottom are terrible. They come off and tear regularly. Thankfully my warranty is still active. I loved my spectre 13, but I'm frustrated with this model. I would advise people to get something else.
