Spent over 2 hours with HP trying to correct problems. They eventually sent me a recovery disc so I had to gut everything I loaded on the PC and again re-install automated passwords and programs. It seems to be working okay now but I'm still getting use to this the over-sensitive keyboard and cursor. Sometimes, I've considered returning this...

I'm going to start this review by saying GET THE 1TB VERSION OF THIS! IT IS WAY BETTER AND THE BEST BUY FOR YOUR MONEY. The screen was cloudy towards the edges and there were a few dead pixels on the bottom left of the screen but this may have been just the one computer as I only ever used one. I was able to swap this out for the better 1TB version and it is SIGNIFICANTLY better in EVERY way, especially the screen! The 1TB version has an OLED display and honestly if the interior specs were the same as the 512GB and the screen was the only difference it would still be worth the $400 price difference!

Love this computer, and the gentleman that helped me seemed so confident in his answers to the questions I had.

All I can say is I absolutely love this laptop! It’s completely replaced my desktop and it handles video and audio editing great! Best purchase of 2020!

Five starts for the laptop, zero stars for the cashiers. I’ll NEVER shop Best Buy again. The front end staff was snippy, rude and extremely unhelpful.

SSD died within a year of purchase but the warranty was a pain in the rear, so I ended up ordering one myself to install.

laptop is good. But the mouse pad is sticky. scroll bars is hard to get to it with mouse pad. also because of sticky mouse pad, screen zoom automatically activates. Some time annoying but you will get used to it. Surprisingly it came with pen and leather case also. One thing all the newer laptops is that they don't have a edges of the monitor/viewing area. So if you move the monitor position, touch screen gets activated. Also it's feels very heavy at 4.3 pounds and really feels very cold also. My basic usage is emails, MS office browsing and some movies.

Honestly, this laptop is so nice. I bought it for my daughter now that she’s in college and she absolutely loves it. The tablet mode is very useful.

I bought this for my wife to run her home-based business. So far she's extremely pleased with the speed. It's got a solid feel and nice bright touchscreen.
