    The lap top runs very slowly even being connected to WiFi. Low battery life as well.

    So this laptop came with Windows 11. Did not bother with initial setup. Instead installed Zorin OS (Ubuntu based) which only uses about 10GB out of the 59GB of storage so lot more free space. Works really fast, stable and better security than Windows. NOTE: Can downgrade to Win 10 (free) if you have not gone thru the initial Win 11 setup. On another computer download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool and create the USB installer.
