Should have paid a little more and gotten a better laptop. Barely bigger than my iPad. VERY slow. Even normal browsing took forever.

I didn’t realize it was so small. That is my fault because I assumed it would be regular size. I am going to keep it but I really don’t like it. I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it.

I wish I could rate 0 stars. If you have to do anything other than word processing or casual web browsing, this is NOT the computer for you! If you have several zoom meetings etc, this device just doesn't perform. The processing power on this machine is nonexistent. I bought 2 and my kids couldn't even get through their first online class. I returned them the next day. Save yourself time and headache -- spend a little more money and get a real computer. I replaced these with HP - 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 12GB Memory - 256GB SSD, and the kids haven't had any problems since.

Hi everyone. I bought this laptop / chromebook? (not even sure if it has a classification) for my daughter who is now starting college. Specs seemed good and like the HP name. Upon trying to download Zoom or even log on from the site my daughter informed me that the app was not available on this computer. I could not believe it but as I researched why she could not download it, it appears that Zoom and many other apps are available on the Google store. The HP Stream is Microsoft partnered and so cannot download apps from Google store in the normal Safe mode. The Zoom app is not in the Microsoft store and if this ubiquitous app is not in the MSFT store I can only imagine how many other less common apps are not available. Let's be real, Zoom is one of the apps everyone is using in this COVID - 19 environment. Angry and disappointed I decided to reach out to HP itself for help. Here the story became even more irritating to me. The HP rep informed me that we would need to take the laptop out of Safe mode to download Zoom an irreversible process that would affect the laptops performance and security integrity. He said that I should purchase a tech support plan for the laptop for a $35 setup fee and a $15 monthly charge in order to help with problems taking it out of safe mode. I refused and will take my chances out of safe mode. To summarize, this is not a Chromebook so it does not have ability to download apps from Google chrome store. The MSFT store apps are more limited so you will eventually need to take it out of safe mode to download something you want/need. Get yourself a real Chromebook or even better a full laptop of small size instead. It's what I would have done if I had read this response prior to purchasing the HP Stream.

its a ok emmc for the price with 64gb flash memory 11.6 laptop screen intel 4gb memory.Mine was lost in shipping by ontrack . i got the same one at target didnt get lost in mail.

It was ok just not good for doing alot of things at one time. Kept freezing up and always had to restart. I guess it the price you pay for what you get type of laptops.

I didn’t realize this computer was as small as it was and It was not suitable for the job. I was trying to work from home with it and it couldn’t do all that I needed it to do.

Horribly slow, size is nice and it was light weight, but took it back it just didn’t work for most programs way to slow

using it for basic internet use and for college work ..so far its working fine, It’s very small, work bit slow.

A little smaller than I expected. But I’ve gotten use to it. I can’t seem to download my pictures from my phone. But overall good on everything else.

Too slow, every time I use it I have to wait about five to ten minutes for it to load.

Decent laptop for the money. It meets expectations but I had a the charging adapter went bad. This is good for light tasks but it does work with cricut well.

I bought this for my son and he was very pleased with it, however, once he tried to use it without the power cord battery plugged in, it would not hold a charge. This was an open box item with 10.00 off the sale price. Perhaps this is why it was an open box and someone failed to test this computer before re-selling it. Luckily, Best Buy accepted the return and refunded the money back to my credit card.
