I bought this laptop for school- was only looking for something with Word and internet and also something that is easy to carry. This is the perfect laptop! My only complaints are that it does not have a cd drive and also that i could not test it in stores before buying it. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and may even like it more than my macbook pro (which was 4 times the price). I really like the color on the keyboard- it kind of fades to a lighter blue but you cannot see that in the pictures.

I am happy but be warned. 1) Touchscreen version comes with Windiws 8 and you have to wait a while and delete some spa to make room for 10. 2)not very fast 3) weird scrilling w touchpad I do love the color, the touch screen, and Edge browser. It is pretty portable.

This computer certainly had good potential. I'm an IT professional and knew it would be a bit on the slow side, which was fine with me. Short and sweet... the issue are. 1. Hard drive space. All I have installed on it is Office 365 (which it comes with) and Norton antivirus. That leaves me with 9.32 gigs of free space. What fills it up is windows itself. It is forever growing due to the constant updates. All you can do is turn updates off but that's a security risk. Eventually the computer will fill up and no longer be able to boot up. 2. External SD slot: I put in a 64 gig chip to increase hard drive space but you cannot install any programs using it "cannot install to removable media". Also I'd like to add that increasing the actual RAM or hard drive space is not possible. It is all soldered directly to the motherboard. Like I said above as well it is slow but that should be expected with this processor speed and only 2 gig of ram. My conclusion is its a good pc for extreme basic needs like surfing and checking emails. Not to much more though.

Originally purchased the HP-Stream without touchscreen..returned and opted for this model. Lightweight, budget laptop. With specs above a netbook this will get the job done for basic computer user. Battery is excellent. Not a fan of windows 8 or their gimick with Office but overall great computer for reasonable price

Got it for my 9 and 7 year old. Perfect for their age. The price was great. They love the touch screen feature

I was reluctant, at first, to purchase a PC because I'm a MAC person. But, I have to admit, I was taken by surprise. This little lightweight computer carries a lot of weight! it's great for what I need it for, writing papers, browsing the internet (when I should be paying attention to the lectures) and, it's easy to pack and unpack when I'm in a hurry, it's so light I forget that it's in my bag. I'm glad I decided to take a chance. PC, you've come a long way baby!

The laptop is light and small and the touch screen works great. The only problem is the small memory capacity. I had to delete some apps sent with the system in order to download Windows 10. Not sure if I have enough to use it long term.

I have previously owned this HP stream in his non-touch variant. I bought from the Windows Store and it was doing pretty good until I left it somewhere on my way to the airport. I decided to replace it with the touch variant which makes a good addition since I am very used to tapping the screens of my tablet and smartphone. Audio quality is not that bad. I feel like the machine is a tad underpowered but for a budget laptop you are probably getting a fair amount of quality. I also love the color that goes along with the Windows OS.

I bought the HP stream and as a first-time buyer, it was perfect for my needs. Mainly for personal use, although the Windows format has changed, it was very easy to navigate. Lightweight and very attractive- appearance wise. The staff were very helpful and it included extras, like security and an office app.

I bought this as a back up while my laptop was being fixed, and it has been great. The price was right, but it is a little slower than I thought it would be. Love the touch screen!

I bought this as a family computer. The first Unit I received did not turn on. It was defective. I brought it back and got another of the same computer. It works fine. Great for what it is. Great computer for kids and browsing the internet around home. Maybe some Microsoft office work. I would not use this as a work computer, but this is fantastic if you need a great cheap laptop. Great Value for the price. My only real complaint would be the power cable connection feels plastic-y and frail.

I bought an HP Stream Laptop and absolutely love it!! Great size for easy portability and very easy to read keyboard at a great price.

I just finished my first semester in school for dental hygiene and we take a lot of notes. this laptop is PERFECT!! for note taking and i also use it for itunes, netflix, youtube, and everything runs so nice. i also love the touch screen feature. my 3 year old daughter loves it too. highly recommend

I was shocked at the deal we got. $150 for a perfect open box laptop. My daughter uses it all the time and loves the touch screen.

I just love my new HP Stream Notebook. It's a beautiful color, fast and excitingly updated.

I bought it for my father who navigates on internet and use office for basic work. Perfect for him. I thought he wouldn't like the color but he loved it. Nice finished.

The touchscreen is pretty cool but the computer is slow and it has no hard drive... So you can't really download programs on the comp. it also doesn't have a cd drive.
