The computer lags when typing at times, and the keyboard is positioned in such a way that it is hard to keep your palms off the touchpad when you type, so you often end up making all kinds of mistakes, or loosing the page you were on, etc. The machine also has a strange habit of opening all of the internet explorer tabs you have ever opened if you leave it on and allow it to go dormant. When you wake it back up, you will have a string of tabs across the bottom to close out that were not there when you left the computer alone. The main screen is touchscreen and has a way of deciding when it wants to work, or just ignore your touch. I would have exchanged this, but the short exchange period of Best Buy expired before I really started to use it and discover the flaws...

I love my new laptop, it's very fast and reliable.

Bought for school papers and netflix, pretty good and stylish but couldn't upgrade to win 10 because the memory isn't enough with the few program I installed.

Really was looking for plain Jane computer when I found this great buy and it was a hp brand how could I go wrong. The associate was really kind and helpful.

Very good for travel and for school/work. Not enough memory for mega projects, but it gets points for wordprocessing and ease of use straight from the box.

Intentionally underpowered base unit so more homework and less gaming would get done. Laptop works fine, and uses usb add ons nicely. Fast boot from flash.

I enjoy my laptop. I really like it, I'm able to use it for school and personally I would my friend to buy it.

Everything works pretty great, just need a keyboard that lights up and thats it.

It looks good, works well, has a lot of advertising and stuff I need to remove, I'm not sure if the touch is of interest to my, but my daughter uses it

I bought it for my girlfriend and her school needs to do homework. It has served it's purpose as a $250 laptop

My only complaint is the amount of software that came with it. Wish they would have included more, but it's been a great machine for my son at college.

It is great and having a touchscreen is a blessing, but I did not get the Microsoft Gift card nor Office 360

The laptop bought was easily visible with a competitive price. An HP representative was onsite that day and he along with the store associate suggested this as a very good purchase. I have had a very good experience both buying this product as well as performing the many programs and internet access.

I bought this for my child for school. It is portable and easy to carry back and forth to school. Great buy. Thinking of purchasing one for myself.

It's okay but you get what you pay for. If you don't download a lot and just search the Internet it's fine

I bough this for my niece to watch cartoons on youtube and play kid games. I think it s best for kids

Bought this so that my son could do his homework. It's pretty good as long as you don't want a fast computer. Perfect for what he needs it for.
