Excellent price. Got it for $209.00, Was priced matched with Amazon's price. Keypad works pretty good. Love the fact that its touch screen. Easy to set up. Sound and effects are amazing. The 2 tone color is gorgeous with the white keys. Keys are not hard to press, vary smooth. Runs really well. bluetooth works pretty well. I like that it has a micro sd card reader then a full sd card reader. I purchased a 1TB External Hard Drive for $60 Bought the matching blue color. Lol. The turn on time is pretty good. And runs pretty smoothly for the price I bought it for. It's good for basic use if you don't have an external hard drive. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Have had this for just over a month. So haven't exactly gotten the full use of it yet.

Got this for a family member who is not very tech savvy (I am a Mac user); she wanted something small and simple for internet and bill pay. Touch screen works great and laptop hasn't had any hiccups or issues. Additionally, the computer is very trendy looking with the keyboard being a blue ombre.

Stunted laptop, even for the price.

The phrase "you get what you pay for" never rang truer than it does with this laptop. I bought the laptop with the knowledge that there were going to be some limitations, most notably in the storage department (only 32GB), screen and basic build quality. What I didn't expect was for the core parts of the laptop to be almost totally stunted. Here's the thing: this is essentially a 'netbook', meaning that it is good for basic word processing and browsing the web and that's about it. There are two major problems with this laptop that hinder its ability to do these two things that it is supposedly built for. Issue one: Windows 8.1 is a rather demanding operating system for an entry-level laptop. That's why there aren't many dedicated entry-level Windows laptops anymore; the bare-bones hardware in these machines just doesn't quite make for a smooth experience. The entry level market is mostly occupied by Chromebooks. So even though this laptop has a solid state drive to speed things up, it isn't quite enough. This thing slows down to a crawl even during the simplest of tasks, making it a total chore to use. Issue two was the dealbreaker for me: the wireless card is garbage. The HP Stream 13 has next to no range for picking up wireless connections and drops connection quite often. A netbook that has trouble maintaining an internet connection for browsing? Not good. Now, I thought this may just be MY machine, but after talking to staff at a couple of local computer shops I learned that this isn't an isolated issue with the Stream 13s. I heard of slightly better results with the 11-inch version (for whatever reason), but I still wouldn't expect much given my experience with this one. Bottom line: you can get a tablet and Bluetooth keyboard for less money than this laptop and you will likely be much happier than you would be if you bought this product. I absolutely would not recommend this laptop to anyone based on my experience and knowledge. You can do better.

I purchased this item today and am quite delighted with what I received! If you are looking for a cheap laptop with a responsive touchscreen for work or for the internet, look no further. I did have a slight issue with the "N" key, however, other than that issue, it is an amazing product!

This is a good, fast, quick laptop that is very functional. It is tough to see in direct light though because the screen isn't very bright. Other than that I would definitely recommend it.

    BEWARE! NOT 32GB

Please be aware this laptop looks great, touch screen works fine but it does not come with a 32GB memory. We purchased this laptop last night, after starting at home we notice memory available of only 21GB and with everything that is pre-installed, computer only had 15GB left. Contacted the store and they said that it has a 32GB CAPABILITY but we need to buy extra ram memory to make it 32GB.

    High hopes...

I was looking for a portable laptop pc running windows and was hoping this would be it. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. My other laptop is a 5 year old intel i5 with 4gb of ram. Although I realize that this is an intel Celeron, and only has 2gb of ram - I was hoping that technology had advanced enough for performance to be at least comparable - not the case. This device has absolutely 0 ability to multitask in any sense of the word. I expected the limiting factor with this little machine to be the RAM, but found that it is actually the processor. For example - watching a youtube video will keep the processor utilization at 100%. Don't even bother trying to have more than a couple tabs open in chrome while using a word processor unless you like staring at a frozen screen for 2-5 seconds after a mouse click. As much as I absolutely love the feel of this device(other than the horrible touchpad), I just can't get over how incredibly underpowered it is. The fact that a brand new device is significantly slower than a 5+ year old middle of the road laptop is stunning. I will be returning this HP and sucking up the price of a real i7 powered laptop that allows for ram and HD upgrades - that this one does not. If you think you can add a standard 2.5" SSD or more memory to this thing, you'd be mistaken. It is all part of the motherboard. As much as I tried to like the HP stream, I can't afford to spend the money on something that I would consider barely usable as nothing more than a toy for the kids.

I don't know about this product

The first time I bought this, the space bar was broken even though it was brand new. So, I took it back and exchanged it. Now, this one is frustrating me because the arrows on the keyboard you have to pretty much slam for them to work. If you slightly tap it, it won't register that you hit the button. I am still not sure whether or not I will just completely return the computer. Other than the keyboard problems, I LOVE the colors and it is the perfect size for me. I didn't really want a touchscreen laptop but nowadays, that's what every laptop is. I haven't really had time to test it out too much but so far, I'm somewhat liking it. I don't know if anyone else has had any issues with the keys not working. Maybe I am just picky about things. Great price though.

I love the laptop over all. I can not get Windows 10 to update on it so far. Purchased it Saturday the 8, and still having trouble doing the update. Keeps saying not enough space. Microsoft word was specially easy to install. Love the new improvements. Great job there by far. Very light weight, makes for easy carrying.

I just got mine, and I really like it so far. The HD screen is great, love, love the white keyboard-if you don't like that the keyboard isn't backlit, you really don't need it to be-and it really is a full sized keyboard. The biggest surprise is that the celeron processor has been pretty fast. I'm quite surprised. My only concern is the small size of the hard drive, but they really do give you lots of other storage online-theonedrive. All in all, I would, and will recommend this little computer to people like you! :)

I actually bought this in a store. Very light weight. Works great. I have had it for a year now. One of my favorite features is the touch screen. It has a built in mouse as well, which is handy when the touch screen doesn't want to work. When that happens I usually just have to restart it. I take my laptop with me anywhere I happen to be.

Got this because I needed something for things that a tablet just won't do. HATE windows 8, but was told this came with a free windows 10 upgrade. Only problem is the machine advertised as a measly 32 GB, really only has about 20, which is already used up with the current operating system. Less than 4 usabe GB right out of the box. Forget about saving any documents or anything else for that matter and trying to download the windows 10 update is a joke. Not enough space day 1 even with nothing added to it.

This product is very thin and easy to carry around. I first bought this because the majority of my homework is online now and I love how quick and efficient this product is. I was fully amazed of how well the touch screen works for this product. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a laptop for at home or school.

Not even enough hard drive for Windows 10

This is a very adorable, pretty blue, featherweight computer that doesn't have enough hard drive for anything. Not enough for windows 10 if you have Office. Not enough for any pictures or iTunes. I had my son look at it for me and he was stumped, so he had a geek IT friend of his check and he said it's just that small. Only room for the OS. Perfect, just what I wanted- not. Now I'm stuck with a lovely looking computer that I can use to go online. I really didn't know what I was getting.

We purchased this computer for our employee so he could use our cloud based documentation. It is easy for him to use as well as generate documents for patients. Very easy to set up and just the right size for our practice.

If you buy this you should just stick with Windows 8 as while upgrading to Windows 10 it stops and says there is not enough memory, and that's right out of the box.
