Connectivity issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on Tuesday, 2/26 as a birthday present for myself, and I have had SO many problems with it. I don't know what kind of wifi card this thing has, but it will NOT maintain a connection to ANY of my networks. I tried it with the 2.4ghz network, I tried it with the 5ghz network, and I even tried it with my mobile hotspot. The computer just WILL NOT stay connected. If I'm trying to type in a web app (email, Google docs, etc) it will just disconnect and spend 1-2 minutes "reconnecting" in which it does absolutely nothing. I have to toggle the wifi just to get it to FIND the right network, and once we're connected it only stays that way for 5-6 minutes before crapping out again. That problem is on top of the issue where the software product key was not included in the box, and I had to completely reset the whole thing just so I could log into the correct Microsoft account. I didn't want a Windows computer in the first place, but the Chromebook I wanted to buy was sold out both in store and online, so I settled for what I thought would be the next best thing; boy was I wrong. Skip this one, and get something else.
