Constantly glitching for no valid reasons (it will stop a 50-page long print to tell you that the paper levels are low even though there's plenty enough for example and then starts over the whole doc!), uses a ton of resources, the instant ink thing doesn't work well since it waits till the last minute to activate the shipping of a replacement cartridge > took a week so I had to buy another one on Amazon in the meantime ($$); overall uses SO MUCH ink, an entire cartridge for about 120 ages (I'm a student, that's like 4 articles). The worst part for me is to print on both sides: if you're thinking, "well, let's do all odd pages first, flip the pile and do even pages next"? Forget about it, sometimes it goes decreasing so from the last page to the first one (you just have to flip the pile for the even pages for example), sometimes it goes in increasing order, and then everything is messed up and you waste time and resources re-printing some pages just.because. IT SUCKS! To summarize, if you need a printer for the occasional return label, sure, it will do. If you need a printer to work, keep looking and don't waste time and money on this gorgeous expensive piece of crap.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has caused you such inconvenience. It’s easy to understand unreliable printing, rapid ink use and a confusing duplex feature would add up to tremendous frustration, so I’ll point you toward some resources and offer some information I hope will help.

For ink use, here are some things you can consider:
- If it appears that a cartridge was low on ink to begin with, or that the poor page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, you can always contact the seller who sent you the cartridge about that.

Here are some facts on ink use that might help you get more prints without too much extra effort:
- A high-density print (such as an image or graph) uses ink more quickly than a text-only document, particularly if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
- Using the draft and black only settings on your printer can help save on ink, particularly the colors.
- Shutting the printer down between uses can result in some savings. However, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer to 'park' so that the nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper are protected from excess drying.

My old canon, you cant buy the ink for anymore at a store. This is much more compact than my old printer/scanner. You have to download the app first, there is a HP app called HP smart you need. Make sure you choose the correct app from the store. I set up my wifi network from the app (so easier to type in the wifi password than using the printer). The printer comes with a single black and a single multi color cartridge. I printed a test pdf. It came out decent, not great. it took less time to load and print from my old canon printer. I did have some bleed I did not have previously. You cant really scan with this so that is disappointment. if you use the included cover you can not leave paper in it, so you can add a print to the que when you get home and set it all back up. there is no paper hold for when it prints. There is an ink subscription you can get. I did not try the smart assistant ( I have siri) Pro: easy setup small footprint much quieter than older printers love the cover to hide the printer I can print right from my iPhone cons: if you use the linen cover you cant keep paper loaded once it has printed, the paper needs a flat surface, no tray is included no true scanned noticeably slow no siri support
