Great price and capable of doing so much more than I expected. I brought this laptop cause I wanted to be able to play some PC games on steam and being a person with little knowledge and a little bit of help from a best buy representative I was suggested that this laptop would fit my needs, and it has lived up to the hype. I've been able to play all the games I wanted with no issues at all. Would highly recommend especially for someone just wanting to get started in PC gaming without breaking the wallet, but I did purchase it when it was on sale.

Good cooling solution, ok screen (colors are a bit washed). The frame bends and this makes the touchpad click (I have never seen something like this before), Omen APP is pretty bad (hogs a lot of memory). It's been an overall ok laptop, doesn't get too hot, and also delivers what it promissed (for the price I paid)

I got this model as a replacement for a Victus that was damaged. I had the memory and hard drive moved over from the old computer and so far it seems to be working flawlessly. I was totally unimpressed with Best Buy. It took them nearly a week to make the changes and they failed to contact me when it was done, despite repeated assertions that they would. After I got the computer, I had to take it to a local repair shop to get it to where I could actually sign on and also get on line. Won't be a Best Buy customer in the future.

This is a fantastic laptop that handles all of my needs from work to gaming. This has exceeded all of my expectations so far and I am extremely happy with my purchase!

The laptop is a good size—large screen but still easy to carry and not too heavy. The display is sharp and vibrant for a typical Windows laptop. It’s not quite on par with a Mac’s Retina display, but still very solid and enjoyable to use.
I really like the backlit keyboard—it’s responsive and sleek. I’m still adjusting to the keypad layout, and while I’m not a huge fan of the trackpad, I usually use a mouse with laptops like this anyway, so it’s not a dealbreaker.
Some reviews mentioned the plastic build instead of metal, but honestly, it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. The matte finish gives it a clean, modern look. The laptop is still new, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs long-term, but so far, I’m pleased.

I thought I was upgrading, significantly, from a laptop without a dedicated GPU to one with a dedicated GPU, and the price was an unexpected bonus. 16GB of RAM will play my games, and only freeze occasionally, without a dedicated GPU, so I expected this laptop to do the same, or better, with a GPU. I was wrong.
Not only did it get really hot (too hot), but it crashed one game with a fatal error. Since it's an indy city building game, and this laptop has specs which are well over the minimum required to play, this was not optimal.
Findings: 1) Plastic undercarriage, as built, is not great and needs much better cooling. 2) The laptop needs more than the 16GB of RAM that it comes with, in my opinion, as I have played the two games I own on other laptops, only freezing or crashing without enough RAM.
Conclusion: It could be that the laptop I received was a lemon but, based on my experience, I would expect to have had to upgrade RAM and purchase a high quality laptop cooling pad, had I opted to keep it. I decided to put the additional outlay toward a laptop without the drawbacks of this one.

Overall a great starting gaming device to use and handle. Not the best when comparing to a PC, but for a portable computer, it has great memory, great storage, and will last you a long time. Highly recommend and would buy again- just be careful of the two-ish hour battery life.

I recently bought this laptop, being someone who has played games on console my entire life, I wasn't certain at first that this was exactly what I was looking for. But after research I decided to purchase it, and I am very thankful that I did. This runs the games I choose to play perfectly, and it looks amazing doing it. I look forward to discovering more about this laptop. The pricing options made it extremely accessible, and it is a very reasonable price for the work it puts in. Highly recommend.

So far so good!! Has been running fast, sleek design. Able to download and play the sims. I am not a serious gamer but it did not impact the speed this runs at so far.

This laptop was a huge improvement for my son. He can now play all the steam games and minecraft easily without any lagging or delays at all. We tried a cheaper laptop for a year, but it was horrible. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a budget-friendly low-end gaming laptop. Only weird thing is the black bar below the screen seems larger than necessary, but this is a very minor issue.

I bought this laptop back in July for a birthday present for myself so I’d didn’t have to lug my oc around to play games at both my houses and it’s been absolutely amazing at running basically anything I’ve played on it highly recommended

So this is a great bang for buck laptop on sale, I got it for under 600, and couldn't be happier. Great for those who want to get into gaming with the one thousand dollar entry fee for a solid desktop. That being said the storage is the biggest limiting factor but if you play small indie game , it should not be a issue. Overall Id recommend if you find it on sale
